Prices are based on supply and demand, not only on manufacturing cost. If the 40C is less popular than the 35C it is reasonable it would sell for less. Not usual, but reasonable.
I just ordered these from the US and they are the same batteries that are sold in the Aus and Euro warehouses but the ones in Aus and Euro say the max charge rate is 5c on the web info and the ones I got from the US the web info said max is 2c is this a typo as they are the same battery? And why is the 40c battery way cheaper than the 35c battery of same capacity is there a difference other than C rating?
All experts say that you can pretty much safely charge ANY batter at 3-5C. The packs are identical from the different warehouse, and I know for a fact they are safe at 5C charging.
update....These are much better then the plain ol' nano's....Im working my 550's and 600's hard and so far they hold up great...Awsome price as well.

Ordered these from the US warehouse, received within two weeks (back ordered). Perfect condition when I got them, cells were no more than .04 volts apart. Charged and balanced first time and are performing great with extended flight times and cooler temps. We'll see how they hold up over time!

Received both of my 40C batteries today. All cells in both batteries came perfectly balanced at 3.84V. These batteries actually fit the frame of my Outrage 550 a little better than the Turnigy 6S 5000mah 30C batteries that I currently have (49mm vs 50mm tall). The 30C batteries have been great, looking forward to trying out the 40Cs. They could be packaged with a little more padding, both batteries have indentions in them caused from the balance connector. The indentions in the batteries do not seem to be an issue at the moment.

Great batteries, they arrived balanced with all cells at 3.78v. Cells balance well after charging and after a 6 minute flight with peak discharges at 85A the packs are still at ambient temperature.
Minus 1 star for the 8 ga. wire. Honestly, why use wire this size for a 5 inch run? The voltage drop at 40c between 12 ga., 10 ga. and 8 ga. is negligable for such a short distance! The 8 ga. will not fit in/on to any connector other than the supplied 5mm bullets.

You Can Fly All Day Long with Just Three Batteries
After three months I Finally Received them,,,, I’ve found the perfect combination for anyone who loves electric 40 to 50 size planes. I’ve purchased two of the iChargers I also purchased three of the six cell 5000 mA 40c to 50c discharge and 5C charge rating but only received two of my batteries. I was able to drain one of my battery over 4500 mA of usage and I recharged it approximately 4883 mA in 22 minutes. My Assumption is that with a quick charge can get the job done in less than 15 minutes. So to car batteries, or two deep cycle Marina batteries preferred as the power source at about 24 votes, two Ichargers three 5C charger rated batteries. With each flight at eight to ten mins My downtime will be less thin five minutes per flight.
P.S both of my Chargers works fine so far
