This model has been designed especially for FPV (First Person View) flying!
This is a true FPV plane that is easy to build and comes packed with common sense FPV must-haves features. The rear mounted elevator and rudder servos help counter balance additional FPV and radio equipment. Other practical features include the large internal ply mounting trays for installing batteries, transmitters and other FPV equipment while still allowing easy configuration for achieving correct C of G. The large canopy area allows for an aray of camera equipment and is not mounted to the frame allowing you to configure your model as you require.
This is a hand-launch model which allows for launching in any terrain. The combination of a large wing, and the recommended 4s power train, means there will be plenty of power and lift for the initial launch. The fiberglass fuselage is ultra tough and ideally shaped for landing on grass, with a flat bottom and rear skid.

Can any one help me and all those who are new to this hobby and really want to go ahead with future plans .I would be great full if some one has a manual on eagle uav fpv (w)That can help one and all in need.
You are absolutely right pejay.I too got foxed as i am new to this hobby. and asked for the technical advice for my fpv project.the first thing that i demanded was this bird .forget about the accessorizes as so called ARF.I was not even provided with the instruction manual
.
This plane seems to be very much the same as HobbyKing FPV/UAV Fiber glass kit V2. Almost same dimensions, give and take a few mm but price is $ 66 more. And this plane does not have flaps and no landing gear. And then HK say this plane is an ARF. So where is the motor, servos and ESC?
Truly cannot see why somebody would buy this plane unless they did not see the cheaper version.
thanks for that,i would make a note to record step by step build up and than post the consolidated video so that no one else suffers for such a beautiful bird.
if you look at this one it is identical and it has the manual under files they should put it for this one too. flaps and lading gear is the only difference HobbyKing FPV UAV Fiber Glass Kit V2 With Flaps
I HAVE RECENTLY BOUGHT A FPV PRODUCT ID: EagleFPV-W .CAN ANY ONE HELP ME WITH THE INSTRUCTIONAL MANUAL ALONG WITH THE LIST OF THE PACKAGE CONTENTS.I AM FROM PATHANKOT ,PUNJAB ,INDIA. THE PACKAGE HAS BEEN FRISKED BY THE CUSTOMS AND IT SEEMS THAT CERTAIN PARTS ARE MISSING.
easy try one of the other hobbyking sites in other country look under files or try look under the 168 fpv same plane with flaps and landing gear look at those files. hope this helps ya. tommy
it will really depend on the motor you choose but my advise is with all gear and proper motor youll need the thrust to lift and for longer flight time i would use 4s. hope this helps ya. tommy
also with the prop size not capable of beging any bigger than 10 inch you will need more rpm to achieve the thrust required this is accomplished by a 4s
75mm from leading eage of the wing. If you choose 1/3 of the wingdepth at first, you will be save. Then you can try out if the plane behaves the way you like.
Mine is at 75 now, but other people say 8mm would be better. I found this at FPVpilot**** Planned Set Up:
Motor: KMS 2826/06 730KV /50amp max/600 watts Prop: Max is 10" with this low kv motor a 3 blade prop will be used. ESC: 60 amp Turnigy Servos: HS-65HB , HS-85MG nose gear. FPV TX: 900mHz 800mw Radio RX: AR9000/TM1000 Flight Batt: 4s 5800mah Lipo Camera: WD600R or GoPro Hero Hd OSD: Eagle Tree OSDpro/ GPS/ v4 eLogger Co-Pilot: Eagle Tree RTH
im waiting on mine to arive, but im looking at running a nitro ASP ap15a, with a 7x4 3blade prop. and if that hasnt got the balls an os max 20 should do the trick
ooooohhhh.... same plane, minor changes no landing gear and a shipping weight of 8lbs ($61.21 ems)cost of plane $167 lmfao....that's gonna be a seller for sure NOT!!!!
This one just seem to be better furnished than the 168. But price is a wow! Is it $166.05 or $66.05, Anthony?

1 thumbs up!
This plane flys very similar to a skywalker but due to its slightly heavier wingloading it flys slightly faster which also makes it very smooth to fly.
Great for FPV though i havent tried myself, only thing i would like would be to have flaps because in no/slight wid conditions you have to fly it far away to get it to slow down which is not a bad thing but would prove difficult if you fly from a small field.

This is the identical plane as the hobby king fog long range.it is said to be tail heavy but with the equipment it all balances very nicely. Also the motor mount is pitched way up so it will always look like it flys tail heavy I suggest putting small spacers or washers on the top two thus pitching straight the motor to push straight not up or down .if I'm wrong about this as I am not a real plane Engineer I'm not sure of the p factor applied on the pusher.example front mounted motor u need to pitch the motor 1degree left 3degrees down what is the formula for the pushers? Anyway I almost have it ready for the madden flight I will post results
