What do you mean auto mode? I don't think it has a do all auto mode. If you mean like a peak auto charger for a Ni-Cad or NiMh battery it pretty much only works that way. You do have to set the amperage though. 1-2C for your battery should be safe I would think.
Well it comes with a balance port board that should work with all lipos.
It also comes with pretty heavy duty alligator clips, that is what I use for my 4mm bullet connectors on my batteries.
If you want an exact match then do a search for charging harness and pick that up. It should have what you need on it, and it is pretty cheap.
the balance board is equipped with JST plugs. I'm in the process of getting adapters for my tx battery and my hyperion battery. it works great on the battery for my starter box. the balance board works great but you'll need an adapter to TP plugs from JST. Wish i could be of more help.
if you have a sata power plug from a computer power supply, and you look at the connector with the curved corners facing up, the will be the first from the left and the - will be the second from the left. this should output 12v and will run the charger
I wouldnt do either. Buy one of Hobby Kings power supplies. Inexpensive and easy to use. There is a twin 20V supply for $29 from HK. Its EASY to use and not dangerous like hooking up your charger to a computer PS. Use this one or this one Turnigy T-20Pro Quality 16A Power Supply 180~240V (220W)
Either are great and easy to use
A seperate power supply is needed. I don'y suggest the computer supply if you are charging anything over 2200mah 3S packs ( probablly not enough power). where ever you want to buy one from I would get a 12V 10AMP DC power supply - most all will come with female bananna jacks that mate with your male ones.
Using a computer PSU is fine as long as you know how to solder and some basic electronic stuff. I converted an old PSU by following some article online. My particular PSU is labeled 420W but the 12V line tops out at 18A, so I can only charge at about 200W, which is fine for my use. So, if your PSU can do at least 14A on its 12V line, then it's fine. Don't go by the PSU's total wattage!
the final voltage should be 8.4v it is normal to keep at that voltage for a long time during charging. after a full discharge, it will be lower.
it will charge from
ahhh you dont understand my problem. my charger keeps my 7.2 lipos at about 7.6V constantly. I had the same results with my Nimh batteries. in short I have a charger that will not charge. very disappointed
I purchased 2 of these chargers but neither seems to charger... it's probably something I am doing, but when I plug in a brand new 3S 11.1v battery from HK into the charger and start the charge, it comes back with a "connection break" error. It doesnt' matter whgich charger or which of four brand new batteries I use, i get the same result. I have no idea how to fix this. Anyone has any idea how to get past this issue?
SOME OF MY LIPO CHARGERS HAVE DONE THIS TO ME WHEN BATTERY IS LOW I JUST USE REG CHARGER AT 1 AMP FOR 5 MIN OR SO THAN I PLUG BATT INTO LIPO BAL OR CHARGER SO FAR NO FAILED BATTS AND CHARGER SEE'S BATTS AFTER LIGHT CHARGE UP GOOD LUCK
This is a great RC charger/balancer but with the price and functions it should have a build in USA power supply or it should be included as a package deal. 4 star only.

Paid for priority mail from Us warehouse of course it took about 4 days to process.Charger looks ok. The manual has a flow chart but I push the buttons in the order that it says and the features don't seem to work.
Can't get to aut mode, press start for 3 seconds charging a nicd and it just goes to battery check and then starts charging.
