I have a pair of the horracing SSS3674 2075kv that is rated 60000 rpm and 29v max. I think that it is safe to say that you can run this motor at this rpm as I think that it is a TP Power product. My motor has better specs. But I played 51.00 each as I run a pair is a 42" Catamaran wit 47 mm props.
according to description: max volts 22.2 volt max load 60 amps so max power is 22.2cx60a <= 1332 watts (va).... not in hobbyking: max power = 1600 watts
It needs a 100A ESC as HK 100A one, wich costs such as 40$ but is the best ESC I've seen before! Just check the limit of your ESC, if it is under 100A, buy a new one.
you might be fine with 60A esc only because the motor is not pulling above 60A. you should get a watt meter. Make no mistake, if you pull over the rated amps you can kiss the esc good bye!
*erh7771** Can you be specific about what set up you used and your results? Thanks. I'm planning a twin 90mm EDF and hunting for just the right 6s set up. Thanks
Not Yet, ordered at beginning of year and haven't received yet expecting end of this week or next week.
I'm going to test this on the 6blade Haoye fans that are pitched like Wemos also, should be interesting.
I think so. 74mm lenght should be enough to handle 90mm Hayoe. I tried Typhoon 500H on it before, but current was too high. This motor looks like excelent alternative to 36mm ARC on 6S, but it depends on its quality, if it can handle such power, or it will loose magnets.
Tested it yesterday in a Changesun 90mm fan. 6s1p 5000mAh 20C lipo, produced around 1350 watts/62 Amps. Motor stays cool. I also have the ARC 36.75.1, and these two motors are not comparable performance vise. But very nice motor for medium level performance! Nice price as well :)
Jaroslav(5)- what are your numbers with the arc\changesun or the arc\wemo midi? The amp draw seems just right seeing the CS fan is a lighter load than a midi. Arc36751\Wemo Midi on 6s is 70amps (rc groups com/forums/showpost.php?p=15514879&postcount=75). Also, the Arc36751 on 8s with the CS fan pulled 80 amps and over 7pds of thrust...62 amps on 6s if near proportional amp draw to cell count\voltage should give >80amps on 8s settled (rcgroups...showthread.php?t=1187776&highlight=36 75 1&page=11).
Measured thrust with this motor/Changesun/6s1p 5000mAh/20, is 1,8kg.
reply to erh7771: I have not tried the Arc 36.75.1 in a Changesun fan, so I have nothing to compare with. Arc in wemotec midi on 6s, produced around 1550 watts if I recall correctly. Did not measure thrust at that time.
All over, this motor seems so hold very vell at around 1400 watts. No excessive heat building up at that load. I believe that 1600 watts stated in the product info, is correct :)
So far I've put >2000 watts through this thing and it hasn't skipped a beat but. Hoaye 6blade it does 5pds4oz on 6s * 60amps on 7s it does 7pds peak at 84aps 6pds12oz settled. I don't have the best batteries either so those numbers would go up with >30c packs. So far the numbers look close to a Medusa 1600 vs an Arc. I've gone to 8s 105 amps on the hoaye 6blade but couldn't get accurate thrust numbers mostly cause my speed controller wants to act funny but at 3000watts with heat sink it didn't get too warm.
Good motor so far
Kim - No and I held it in my hand for > 10 seconds then came back to it to see about heat soak and there was very little heat soak with ESC. I tested it tonight on ChangeSun and got 80oz at 57amps...very close to medusa 1600 numbers. The max thrust I got on 8s though was 7.5pds of thrust which is a little under what I wanted but again my ESC was acting funny.
erh7771 - thank you, this sounds promising. I have a HV esc in the mail, and will test at 8s when it arrives. I have attached a heatsink to my motor also. Will report back.
Freewing 6 blade fan 147oz of thrust on 8s\94a\27.8v settled HK 1660kv motor
Freewing 90mm Fan - www.link SuxFly motor from HK - www.link Sentilon100A - www.link amps burst 94 amps settled, used two unheated 4s 20c Rhino packs (I'm impressed with the Rhinos)
No video yet cause I got nervous as all get out spinning this thing up vs the last one, it wasn't as smooth as I'd like (or I was paranoid) so I'm going to make a horizontal test stand for my fans north of 2000 watts including 5 inch fans (any one know of a thread for this please link)
I think anything above 2000watts for now on is goin on the horizontal test stand vs the vertical one. I can put some glass around the stand or something to protect against flyin blades.
This appears to be the motor in the Turnigy Brushless Car Power System, only a lower kv. Should prove useful in the bigger trucks such as the E-Revo or E-Maxx.
I would go for the 3674 myself. Longer can for a bigger truck and higher KV to get the most outta a 4s lipo

I installed two of these motors on an old Losi LST. I truly believe this is the most power that this monster truck could handle. Two Zippy 14.8v lipo's power this beast. These motors got my vote!
WOW this motor has so much power. I hooked this up in a very unconventional way. We used two of these motors with a 42/1 gear ratio and hooked it up to a sumo bot and it had so much power and speed!

t is rated incorrectly. much higher kv. It overheated at half throttle and demaged with a 40mm prop on 6s in a 24in cat with a water jacket.
Very good high performance
