This big 182 is made from crash resilient EPO foam, its got a 1.8m (73in) wingspan and is powered by a 3647 brushlessoutrunner running at 700kv. This thing is sure to make an impression at any airfield!
Despite its size, the cessna is very light and thanks to its flaps, landings and takeoffs are short, slow and stable! This huge 182 (EPO) model aircraft comes 95% pre-built and requires a 45A Power system, flaps and steerable nose wheel, just include your own Tx/Rx, ESC and battery. You will love the new Giant sized EPO Cessna. Its big, easy to fly, breaks down for easy transport in small cars and packed with features. Oh, did we mention its BIG!
The fasteners for the elevator control wires are at the wrong angle. They don't line up with the brackets on the rear stabilizers. Is there a way to adjust them so that they fit and operate correctly?
According to HK, This is only PNP version.I saw a Vid that recommended changing the Motor to a more powerful Turnigy. And it also said to beef up wing struts.
Here is a video I made about this plane.... it is a very nice flying plane! Great for beginners and advanced alike...fantastic for takeoffs and landings... in addition it is quite fast and very aerobatic... Enjoy the video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6GIK9153wY

I want to purchase "Planes ARF,RTF,KIT > Beginner/Trainer", especifically 2 or 3 trainer planes with all their accesories to RTF and to repair them after crash, but I have no idea why every time I add an item a chart, this item always is too heavy to be dispatched to my country (Chile, South America), even if I select only one plane!. Please tell me how can I do to buy at least 1 completed plane with crash accesories and don't have the problem that is too heavy to be shipped?. Thanks if you can do anything to help me.
All items in the USA warehouse and many more are available from the China warehouse. Look up each item, locate that item in the International warehouse listing and place in basket.
Shipping may be a bit higher, however item pricing is lower from International on almost all items.
Hint: Use the search feature to locate all locations of an item at one time. then pick the International or undefined item to go to the correct listing.
Hey i4nak8, I was thinking of purchasing this plane. Would like to get your thoughts. Contact me at lmramos*comcast**** When I hear issues like the reversed servo hookups it makes me nervous. Plus your question about parts is a good one. Who makes the plane, how available are parts, what is the quality of construction?
I have one and it flys great! When I opened the box I noticed that the alerons and flaps were on the wrong wing. The control horns were on the wrong side up. I had to remove them and switch sides. This was a pain because I had already put on the decals. I had a radio problem and it went down in a lake. I recovered the plane and the only damage was to the cowl. Does amyone know how to get replacemet parts? I need a new cowl. thanks Bill
How in the hell did you find ailerons and flaps on the wrong wings ? Were they on the horizontal stabilizer ? And you didn't notice until you put the decals on ????
Very nice plane for the cost. Minor issues in assembly quality.
Reversed Ailerons and flaps. Don't Fight taking them off. Use razor knife to trim horn mount area. Takes 10 minutes.
Plane is EPO foam and easily glued if damaged.
Great review and build info here. www.link
Sorry that I wasn't clear on the aleron issue. The alerons are pre-moulded for the control horns. There is a right and left aleron. They installed the left aleron on the right wing and the right aleron on the left wing. The moulding were the wrong side up. It was not that big of a deal to fix it. I just wish I would have noticed it before I added the decales. I also found a few places that have replacement parts for this plane. By the way I found out what the problem was with my radio! I used a ESC with a built in BEC that was too small for the number of servos that this plane has. This caused the BEC to shut down on overload and in turn the plane crashed into a lake. I am now using a 5 amp external BEC and have had no problems.
PS I have a lot of planes and this one is a real joy to fly. It's big, quiet, slows to a crawl and can also do aerobatics. I really love it.
to do so, i would upgrade the esc to 60amps or more to be sure. if you decide to do this, the motor wont last long if you use it at WOT often. this plane will happily take off at 1/2 throttle anyway.
If you have 4 of them, you could remove 1 cell from all those packs and out of that you make an extra pack. If that is too much work, try how much amps you are using and use a smaller propeller.
if you use "5s batterie" you have more amp to same: wats or hp. you have little less time in fly.
Youll would use most correct selected propeller, this depend of batterie volts. Youll would to select manys propeller to probe one for one, until you find one you like, this is for both case. Obiusly the propeller for the batteries to 5S is not good to batteries to 6S
You have 2 simple options. Floats from 1.5m plane, very close in size or find floats for 2m, a bit big.
Don't skimp on floats quality. ***r design inhibits take off.
These are pretty giant floats and may work well with this plane. I have some.

The Big Cessna is a nice plane. Good power from the motor, and I've used a 60 amp ESC. No problem. The stickers/decals won't stay down, we had problems even with extra foam safe CA. The Rudder and Nosegear don't like to re-center probably too much load on the one servo. The flap servos are reversed from each other so that you can use the same channel on a y-harness, without mixing. At first, when I saw them facing out like aileron servos, instead of facing to the same side, I said to myself, I'll have to go in and change the servo rotation, but it's already done. Diana says she likes how big it is. She can't wait to fly it. Diana (my student) doesn't like the stickers either, says they're a pain in the a**. I like the magnetic hatch under the Fuselage, and the magnetic cowl attachment method. The wheels rub inside the wheel pants, and I've yet to find a way around it. I probably should put extra washers, not included in the hardware. The Big Cessna seems like a great plane, because it's very, very light for a large plane. It will probably be a floater, and a handfull in wind, especially landing.

Great plane, easy to fly, and easy to land. The build is straight foward and fairly easy. The only quality defect I found was the ailerons and flaps were put on the wrong sides so the molded sections for the servo horns are on the wrong side. Not a big deal and easy to over come by just mounting them normally, the molded part just isnt quite right but it still works well. The wheels are also to small so I upgraded to 70mm wheels and hollowed out the wheel pants to fit, you will need bigger wheels if you plan on taking off of grass runways. The worst part is putting on the graphics they do not stick at the edges very well and with the compound curves it is difficult to get them to lay down without bubbles and creases. It took me about 3 hours to get them all just right and then I used clear tape on the edges of the ones that wanted to peel up. I then put a coat of polyacrilic on the whole plane and it looks outstanding. It flies well on a 4000Mah 4s 20c lipo. I usually get 10 min flights and only put 2500 Mah back in the battery thats with mostly scale flying with a mix of aerobatics. I set the CG @ 100mm from LE some say 110 to 120mm its all your preference and what type of flying you do. Check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRPGJhDC37I for a video with onboard cam.

I ordered this one to play around with so that I can get some practice with larger aircraft without having to buy a balsa kit every time a I have a thumb fart.
The plane was packed in a cardboard box in separate cardboard boxes.
The manual is a joke. Never knew the main gear was actually called the rudder ?
The plane its self looks great. plenty of room to place all of your electronics.
The only reason I gave this only 4 stars is for the fact that not all of the hardware was included in the packaging. I was missing some washers and nuts. but an easy fix with a trip to the local hardware store.
Have not gotten it in the air yet. Still waiting to put the esc together.
And like the description says, it is BIG !!!
