I say 8 AWG is overkill for this battery. 12 AWG is more than enough given its max capacity in delivering the current, unless it can go over 100 A constant
Hi Nico, Haven't had a chance yet, had to move countries, sorry, can't advise what they are like just yet, will say though that they came in well with little variance and low resistance. going to use them on a 59" Precision 3D plane

For 4000mah, this is a heavy battery, but then again it is 45c so depending on your use its worth the compromise. Apart from the weight its a great battery (have had a few flights so far, and its performed even better than expected). Be wary of one aspect, it has 8AWG wires so if you plan on re-soldering you'll need a fairly serious soldering iron

I have ordered 2 packs to try them on my Trex600E in series 8S setup, I fly with them for 6 minutes 3D and 8 to 9 minutes sport flying, battery came slightly warm after flight, no puffing at all, it's a little heavy but that's no problem on my Trex600E, powered by Turnigy T600 880kv motor with idle at 95pcnt flat, head-speed ~ 2200 at beginning and ~2050 at end of flight, I have re-ordered another 4 packs, Recommended.
