The new number one in performance and price! The new Turnigy Lipoly packs deliver full capacity at the said C rate. You wont find a better deal in Lithium Polymer batteries anywhere!
This pack in not suitable for a transmitter. It also depends what kind of transmitter you have. If it is a JR/Futaba that takes a 4x4 AA pack. Then you could use this pack PRODUCT ID: ZIP25003S3C
For any transmitter I have is at Sanwa, Hitec, Futaba, and the pistol from the car at 27MHz, intermeddle into the battery compartment easy to cut with my old battery connector and solder the new battery and all inserts.
No, wonrg shape and size. They have proper transmmitter packs for sale. Go for the LiFePo4 style Tx pack. They are very good and safer than normal LiPo ones.
This one is much www.link will allow you to charge only after up to 15 or 20 hours of TRX operation.
The "Constant discharge: 3-5C" is better suitable for your TRX.
Enjoy
Jim
suitable is not the issue here..that lipo is a high discharge batt n will burn your TX..,find lipo that suit from size of tour TX case and small C rate..look for TX&RX batt section.
No, could be made to if you really wanted to, but this website already does transmitter lipo packs. Just search for "transmitter lipo" and they're the first two results. You will have to pick the right one because it depends what transmitter you have. It should be fairly obvious though....try it!
No, transmitter batteries have special chemistry that can be recognized by low C rating, under 10C. A flight pack, if fully charged and kept charged without discharge, will puff soon.
You should check the specifications of your transmitter. If there are none, you can check the voltage regulator of your transmitter. If it's 7808 or something similar, you should be fine. Although I would choose more capacity.
Depends on your Transmitter. I use a 3s in my Graupner MC-15. But I reduce the voltage with two diodes. So I have about 11.4V and my Transmitter works great.
It would work, but it would be a little small. It is 500mah, and standard AA batteries are 1500-2700mah. Also, you would need to have some sort of low voltage protetection, because most transmitters don't have it built in
OK I have this one in myMAX66 JR radio and I use it for playing sim and the lipo lasts long and has not fried my TX mut a servo wire on and just the balance plug the reason is the lipo started ballooning so I cant use it on my planes
Bought this battery for the funfighter series of planes and found out (like in the picture)that this battery comes with the JST connector. I just soldered on an xt60 to be used with my planes. Now, about the battery. It arrived with a good storage charge and it charged quickly with no puffing. I havent been able to do any stress testing yet but I will update this with some numbers in the near future.
