No they fit just fine if you want to cut the door for the wire you can but you don't have too

does it fit the mini erevo, some people say you have to sand away stuff, some say you just need to cut opening for wires?

You just need to trip the battery doors a bit to get the wires out.

robl45, you only need to notch the battery door slightly. It's a tight fit, but it fits fine!

do you need to change from stock gearing on traxxas 1/16 cars? i already ordered 2 sooo.....

No, u do not. In fact it is perfect at stock gearing. Actually the 'high speed gear' u could probably get away with and it would offer a little more wheel spin control. The high speed gear is 31 tooth where the stock gear is 28 tooth, so the high speed gear gives better acceleration and higher top end. The stock gear is lower, which gives more wheel spin and better for drifting.

In my E revo VXL the gear provided for 12 Cell NiMH use is actually a 23T, while the stock is 28T, so it gears the car DOWN, rather than up, which would give you better accel, lower top end.

Can anyone verify that these are the Zippy Flightmax and not the new lable Zippys being sent out when they order this listing? Also can anyone verify that this will fit the 1/16 e revo?

i just the 4 i ordered and the labels are different but theyre the same battery, they do fit the 1/16 revo with a slight mod to the battery door for the wires, and they all came perfectly balanced at 3.85v, hope this helps.

Two of these in a small stock 3906 emaxx, thing cruises smoothly, using a 60 amp motor and the 100amp esc. Love it, keeps this truck light so it stays durable.

i got mine yesterday they are awesome but, they do not fit unless you sand away some plastic on the front and back of the box and you need to cut the battery doors

Battery doors?, I used a 3906 emaxx (the old one) my friend had, they fit, I taped some foam though on them so they would fit snug. They were really small.

love all flight max batts use htis in my car and in my traxxas glow wand (i love it always starts unlike my nicd and nimh)

I bought two of these batteries for my 1 1/16 scale Revo. I love them! fit great, did have to trim battery doors for wiring to fit thru, but other than that the batteries fit perfect! Have not had any issues yet with batteries, have 5-6 charge cycles on them so far

WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!! these dont fit in 1/16 traxxas vehicles stock!!!!! you need to sand the front and back of the compartment!!!!!!!! other than that these are awesome

I bought two of these batteries for my 1 1/16 scale Revo.They fit great, did have to trim battery doors. but other than that the batteries fit perfect! Have not had any issues yet with batteries. They are very powerful and make instant wheelies. I've converted my E-revo mini to a Summit better off road and looks cool!!!

Love these batteries! Bought them for my 1 1/16 revo, fit great in battery compartment. Battery wires are huge though. I trimmed my battery doors for wiring to fit thru. Very minor modification. Very happy with performance and run times of these batteries.
