Hi I have this battery for about 8 months. I guess it had about 50 cycles. 2 days ago i went out and drove with a friend, when after about 15min intense driving the battery began to smoke out of the holes where the cables come through the case. I put it out and waited for 5min till the smoke stopped. Today I opened the battery to look where something burned, but I couldn't find anything. happened? PS. The battery always took very long to balance. Seems it wasn't Ohm matched well.

This Lipo, can be used even on hexa, or just for ground rc ?

Yhat lipo can be used in an hexacopter and also on an rc car, but i'll recommend not to buy it with the hard case if you want to fly, because of weight XD! Hope it helped!

Is the C rating enough for a stock Stampede 4x4 VXL ?

Instead of telling you, i will show you how to calculate it, this will help you way more that just telling you. When calculating how many A(Amps) you can pull out of your battery continuously, you need two values. The C rating and the capacity in Amps. Which in this case means that you have an C rating of 30 and a capacity of 5, just multiply these values and you know how much you can draw! Although i don't know how much the Stampede draws, then you can quickly find out, if your esc is close to the same number as you can draw. For example if your Esc is at 150A then this pack is sufficient. Also remember that the continuously and burst value is different. This battery has a burst C rating of 40 which means that you can pull one fourth more of this battery per 10 second, not included a cooldown. (This is useful for a short drag) Hope this helps you, remember to credit me if you did found this useful :)

Simple answer is yes this will be great with a 4X4 VXL Stampede and will wheelie like crazy (Get a wheelie bar) You will also have to modify the battery bay slighty to fit it in, but that can be done very simply by anyone without many tools. BUY IT! :)

Keep waiting, very good batterys I have 2 and work great! Maybe try from another Warehouse, might be in stock elsewhere.

What can you do, when HK has reserved two of these from stock, but after more than 3 weeks still hast delivered the order.
Dissapointing.......

Well, since I ordered two of these more than 3 weeks ago, my review will be short. I have send a few mails to customer upport, but no answer. Also the status on my order doesn't change, it is still 'status unavailable'.
So I must tell you that my E-maxx operates very badly with these lipo's, that are still not delivered.

Good batteries, case is thicker and seems stronger than Turnigy's. Bought two of them, capacities are 5083 and 5096mAh. Very good value.

Guter Akku, kommt aber mit 4mm Bullet-connector, nicht wie angegeben mit 5mm Bullet-connector! Great LiPo but comes with 4mm Bullet-connector not with 5mm!

There is one bad thing. The width dimension is wrong. It has 38mm and not 32mm as the information. For this reason I can not use it in my rc car, does not fit.
