Just curious how these weigh LESS than most "shrink wrapped" batteries of same mah and C rating? You'd think the plastic case would make them weigh more. I was looking for the lightest 5Ah battery for my small quad and this seems to be the lightest....is there anything other than "that's weird" about running a hard case battery made for a car, on an aircraft?

I noticed this hardcase pack is lighter too. I wonder if it is a typo. I have the 5000mah 20c and it weighs in right at 400 grams and also $10 bucks cheaper. Works great for my X900 tricopter and DJI quad.

Hello, I would need to use this (ZIPPY Flightmax 5000mAh 3S1P 20C hardcase pack USA Warehouse)in a Traxxas Stampede and charge it with a Traxxas charger. Does HK offer the 4mm male bullet-to-Traxxas power connector female adapter plug? Also for LiPo balance the Traxxas LiPo charger has "standard XH balance connectors." Is this battery's balance connector compatible with Traxxas balance charger? Thank you, Mark Little Rock, Arkansas

Use the $10 to buy a soldering iron. It will save you so much time and money in the long run. Its not hard to learn.

Will these fit in the battery trays of a Traxxas Summit or E-Revo without the need to moddify either? Also, if the battery is defective is return shipping by standard US mail to a USA address?

should fit in a slash no revo no problem. the hight may be a slight issue but the taller screws that have the body pin go threw. that traxxas sells can solve that

they are too tall for stock battery tray in slash you have to get the kit that raises the strap or put a longer screw in were the body clip goes and raise the back part also not to big of a deal , summit and revo might be to tall of battery

should fit in the erevo and the same with the summit chassis are pretty much identicle

yes, I think so, but you may need to loosen the battery hold down screws to effectively raise the hold down due to the thickness/height of battery - very simple.

the 4x4 slash has a shorter battery tray than 2wd slash and this is a tall battery, it needs the kit to raise battery strap for either rc will not fit in stock form! battery is too tall beacause is a 3s traxxas makes a kit now for taller batterys not sure of part# thow

you have to buy the battery expansion kit which costs about $6-10

These batteries fit the Traxxas Rustler / Bandit VXL chassis perfectly when you add the Traxxas 3725X Battery Expansion Kit. You will need to replace the connector on the battery or ESC to match or simply build an adapter that goes from 4 mm bullet to Traxxas as I did. I have clocked my Rustler VXL at 60 MPH on radar with 31 / 76 gearing and this battery. Wheelies are effortless at anything below 50 MPH. Run times are hard to gauge because the ESC goes into thermal shutdown after about 10 min of hard use. I would highly suggest the optional Traxxas fan kit for the ESC. These batteries are ridiculously inexpensive when compared to maxamps.

Love this LIPO, my only gripe is that it's too long to fit into my HK-450 PRO V2. I'll be playing around with the postioning on battery tray to se if it will fit with body on. I'm thinkng of trying to mount it under heli, even though it seems a bit unconventional. I'll let You now how it works out

All I can say is this battery is great! Fits my slash 4x4 after adding zap straps around the piece that holds the battery then putting them through the holes where the back of the tray holder fits into. Cheap way of allowing the battery to fit. My shafts in my slash have not twisted yet but the ESC/Motor gets hot. Will be ordering a 1/8th scale motor and ESC.
