I bought one of these, strip of green and two of white. I've rigged them up on a Tuff Trainer to hopefully allow easy night flying (haven't tried it out yet).

These lights are quite bright, as you'd expect for most modern LEDs. To power them, I made up a y-cable to use the 3s battery and soldered a connector to all the wires. The lights are paired up with a resistor for each pair, making it safe to take the full ~11.1V from the battery. Running a 4s might be pushing your luck and I reckon they wouldn't be bright enough on a 2s.

I'll update on whether these are enough to fly at night when I've tried them out.
