More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech lithium polymer batteries are built with an LiCo nano-technology substrate complex greatly improving power transfer making the oxidation/reduction reaction more efficient, this helps electrons pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance.

In short, less voltage sag and a higher discharge rate than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) battery.

The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives.

1) The nanometer conductive additives form ultrastrong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.
2) These additives create a superstrong ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion.
Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.

Advantages over traditional Lipo batteries:
-Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg.
-Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load.
-Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mΩ compared to that of 3mΩ of a standard Lipoly.
-Greater thermal control, pack usually doesnt exceed 60degC
-Thickness swelling during heavy load doesnt exceed 5%, compared to 15% of a normal Lipoly during heavy load.
-Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate.

Why do you want more infos for the balancing plug? It is a 1s! In a 1s there is only 1 cell, so you don't have to balance it!

Yes, you can put as many in parallel or series as you like. Make sure they are at the same charge level if you are going to parallel them.

You can charge them as a 7.4v just not with balancing :)

can I open this battery up and rewire it for 7.4 volt? would it then be 2500 mha? would it still be 50c?

It would then be a 7.4V 2500 mAh 50C pack. But keep in mind that 50C of 2500 mAh is still half of 50C of 5000 mAh (125A versus 250A).

These will be nice for building large custom battery packs, for EV's, no more balance wires to deal with except for one custom one.

Anthony? Why are they a 2p packs? Can the smaller cells, parralled, handle a higher discharge and charge rate? What was the reason for 2p if not...? Or is it the limit of how thick an individual cell can be?

2p packs are to increase the amount of usable energy in the pack. Otherwise it would just be a 1s2500mah pack. There is actually been a long demand for 1s2p 3p 4p 5p ect. packs.

To futher answer you question, paralling packs is not to increase the discharge or charge rate. That solely depends on the chemistry used. These will always be 50c contsant discharge and 8c charge. However when you parallel packs it does increase the actuall amount of amps you can take out and put into a pack i.e. this pack can discharge 250 amps and charge at 40amps. If it was a 4p pack these numbers would increase to 500amps discharge and 80amps charge while still retaining the 50c discharge and 8c charge rate

I think yes but you have to conect in in series to get the 7,4V what the e-Revo 1/16 needs

Gr8 battery bought 3 for my zenoah ignition & fuel pump on a full charge I get around 3-4 flight of 8 mins each fuelpump now fill at a super fast rate that I cant handle so I charge it for long storage & it fine now.

Great Battery. I race it in 1/10 WGT with many A main results. I also run 8 min in 1/12 13.5 and lap times are consistent to the end with very little drop off. I highly recommend and a great price as well.

Couldn't you offer a LPo with the 1/12 size in ar hard case with 2s. A lot of hobby drivers hate to drive there Pans with 1s, due to the expensive ESC, Motors...

Just received mine today.. fit and finish were terrific. Great solid case, bullets that I can just wire right in if I want. I am using this in a 1/12 pan car, so I will take the bullets to 16g wire - but the point is.. for the money.. these batteries are great. 14days to Canada btw :)
