Put this in my 55inch apache Deep vee. Stunning performance on 6s. On first trip out is spent more time out of the water than in. Flipped it three times! Had to install this motor as the last motor (KB45 burnt out after 2 runs). This other motor is suppose to be 1kw more power than this but this Turnigy motor just blows it out of thr water.

Is this a good motor for planes? I'm thinking of using it to replace a .90 fs engine on a pylon racer and have it turn a 11x12 acp prop.

This motor is for boat and car, not for heli.
For 600E size is good Turnigy Typhoon 600H Heli Motor 1100kv (600 class)

if you want speed, its to heavy at 3s. but very high torque at 3s, much more than a small 500sized motor!

Like it?

Just awesome. Tons of torque and speed. In an Exceed RC Hannibal 1/5 scale 4x4 (almost same as redcat rampage xbe) converted from 30.5 cc gasoline to brushless. Using HK 150A esc which is also awesome. Going 45 mph and slighty warm to touch even in southern CA where its usually warm. Great deal.
