Designed specifically for the Turnigy FBL100 and E-Flight Blade mCPx. A direct replacement for EFLB2001S25
More punch, more power and longer flight times are only the beginning. When tested with the Blade mCPx the differences between a regular pack and the nano-tech where remarkable, throttle pumps where off the hook and flight times where extended thanks to the packs additional 100mAh capacity and higher discharge rate.
Bring your mCPx to life with the nano-tech upgrade cell!
* The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives. 1) The nanometer conductive additives form ultrastrong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity. 2) These additives create a superstrong ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly. Advantages over traditional Lipo batteries; -Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg. -Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load. -Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mΩ compared to that of 3mΩ of a standard Lipoly. -Greater thermal control, pack usually doesnt exceed 60degC -Thickness swelling during heavy load doesnt exceed 5%, compared to 15% of a normal Lipoly during heavy load. -Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate. -Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries. -Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.
BONJOUR A TOUS CETTE BATTERIE CE CONNECTE T-ELLE AVEC LE V 911 OU AUSSI APPELE FP100 ? LA BATT DE 120MAH EST FAIBLE DIFFICILE A VOIR AVEC TOUTES CES CONNECTIONS!ou PHOTOS j'aureis bien voulu retrouver la qualite des nano-tech en 200 OU 300MAH POUR LE FP 100 merci
hi joleo,
These batterys have a different connector than the ones that you have. Maby you could by a connector that changes the connector from yours to the other type. but no these batteries will not work with mcx tandem. And their is not any turnagy batteries that will fit that up to date.
i use these batteries in my mcpx v2 and man it has loads of power toataly recommend this prodct over the stock 150 mah 25c batteries a mst buy for the mcpx v1- v2
No. You will be required to have a special adapter as the lead is for the larger mcp-x. Also, it will require a larger battery tray as it is much wider than stock mSR batteries.
As Rad2009 has said you will need an adapter to make the lead from your heli to fit the lipo. As for fitting, I just put a set of mCPX landing skids on my mSRX and they fit although you can feel the extra weight.
NO! It does NOT fit! HellyFlyer, what are you talking about? I have BOTH of helicopters and their batteries, and they are OBVIOUSLY different in connectors and sizes.
There is no this plug more than it is necessary. To you will suit: Turnigy of nanotechnologies 130mAh 1S 25 ~ 40C Lipo Pack* Turnigy of nanotechnologies 160mAh 1S 25 ~ 40C Lipo Pack* Turnigy 160mAh 1S 30C
Can anyone tell me which side of the connector is positive and negative? Trying to connect to a custom adapter and I want to make sure I did it right! Thanks~
if you hold the battery in your right hand with "Turnigy nano tech" facing up and straight (readable) the connector closer to your body is the positive one.I hope this helps
The connector will fit the newer v911 version but it won't fin in the battery slot. You must make some changes or stick the batery under the canopy and use a wire. This is what I will try in a few days.
You could try modifying the Trunigy FBL100 skids to fit the HK FP100 to fit the larger battery. I wouldn't recommend this as it will add weight therefore effect the overall performance.
For those wondering if this battery will fit the Heli-max 1SQ, the answer is yes, but you will have to change the plug on the quad. It's also longer than stock and may require you to remove the battery stop at the rear of the chassis in order to center the battery's weight.
The original has a 50mah shorter capacity. As for my statement about removing the tab, other flyers of the 1SQ have reported using long batteries without removing the tab and having not ill effects from the cg shift. I recently received the 260 nanotechs, which are about 6mm shorter than stock, and I also have seen no difference when the battery is pushed all the way to the tab versus being centered or a bit forward.
I don't think it matters whether it is LiCoO2 or LiMn2O4 as far as what the lipo is made of. The maximum voltage I believe is 4.23 volts per cell and the minimum to avoid drastic loss of battery life and power is 3.0V per cell.
no it wont make any differance it'll just give you more power than the eflite ones get your self a set of kbdd tail blades there a little bit bigger and help a bit, get yourself a blade 130x there so much better than the mcpx, iv got all the upgrades i could get for my mcpx, blade grips, swash plate and head unit and it still blows out as its a power issue coz of the main board not being able to suppy anough power when trying full on 3d try a bit less pitch this might help to draw less power or
Steve: It's the brushed motor and a decent battery. Put in a brushless main and one of these nanos and you can bang the sticks pretty hard without blowouts. I tested these batts on a stock mcpx and one with only a brushless main motor. Night and day difference.
If you like your mcpx and want to keep it.. This battery is a great deal but wont solve tail blow out. The sr 120 tail is a definate fix, or most aftermarket tails that are out will solve blow out. I went through a ton of bling and found an after market tail and brushless kit is the best investment possible. Cant knock it till u try it !
If you fly with a $pektrum Computer radio then your upper pitch limit is probably too high (100pcnt instead of 75pcnt). Go to the travel adjustment screen and move the throttle stick up to high, that will let you adjust travel for the upper limit of pitch. With this battery and correct settings, tail blow out usually won't occur until about 2-3 minutes into flight. But no, the only thing that does is a brushless conversion with a better tail.
You can charge this battery a little faster due to a higher charge rating but if you want to get maximum life out of your battery charge it at 0.3 amps. If your charging a 200mah then charge it at 0.2 amps etc.
I charge them on an eco-6 hk charger at 1 amp and I use a cpu power supply. I have had all my batteries foe over a year adn they still work good and have a great cycle.
I always shock 0.7 Loading and do not feel a drop in viability of the package, they only pay attention to is slipping plastics (ca does the trick), and of course guard against excessive discharge, in my mcpx after conversion to fly brushless motor 3.20 min
The very best charger for full charges and variable amperges is the mcpx stock charger, i like to use 3a for fast charge and 2a every 3rd charge iv had over 60 charges now and no loss in performance
I got the hobby king 1S parallel charger and soldered it to stock mCP X charger. Now I can charge 2 batteries at a 1.3C rate (at the highest rate on the stock charger: .7amps) in the same amount of time and with less hassle as one battery. Also you can charge up to 6 batteries and only have to worry about plugging and unplugging once.
It should work. I did a similar mod to my MCX tandem and it work fine. I just had to make an adapter for the battery to plug into my heli. I am happy with the performance, I get way longer flight times.
I use these batteries on my MCX Tandem. I just took some connections from a couple of old lipos I had for the MCX (same as MSR and MCPX) then adapted them to the Nano-tech lipos, Plugs right into my MCX with no mods to the heli.
Pour ton héli, je ne la connais pas, mais si c'est le même que la MCPX, oui tu peux Beaucoup de puissance et vraiment nice dans la MPCX , quasiment 2 fois plus de run-time que celle d'origine
I was able to get the mCPX landing gear and fit it to the mSRX with no trouble. This then allowed me to use 300mah battery with no issues. You will also need to convert the plug as this plug is larger. Look for the Blade mCPX plug and use it on the mSRX.
This lipo is quite a bit wider than the lipos for the mSR and WILL NOT fit in the mSR's lipo holding bracket! You would have to mod the mSR to make it fit. As well, they are a bit heavy and while the mSR would likely lift it, you would notice the difference in performance.
Bottom line, NO, will not work unless you do some modding, and not recommended.
Yes you can if you mod the battery or the connection on your msr. But I don't not suggest you do it to a stock MSR as your flight performance will suffer greatly ( it tried it on my MSR didnt like it, works well on my MCX Tandem though).
Stock mCPX Setup
After testing this battery against both the stock E-flite and the Hyperion G3 320Mah 1S 25C, the Turnigy is far superior. as a reference here is a time breakdown of the batteries in mins for normal non-3D flights
Please note I stopped flight when head speed was low enough that hover was almost at full throttle.
Stock E-Flite: 4:05
Hyperion 3G 320mah: 5:38
Nano-Tech: 5:42
I did notice that the nano-tech had more stable power output over the entire flight time vs the other 2 batteries. Head Speed was very constant as well on the nano-tech.
For the price, and no need to do any modifications to another landing gear to use, the nano-tech is totally worth it!

After testing one of the five I've ordered I agree with piccolo831. Good lipo's seem to be better value then eflite's.
I still have to check the other ones though, still charging, and see how they hold up after some time.
My experience with the nano's is that the voltage drops fast when the pack is almost empty so better to fly not to long since a too low voltage is killing for a lipo battery.
With e-flite lipo's I have the timer set at 4 minutes 100pcnt throttle, these probably can do a little longer. Eflite's drop off after 3 minutes where these still were good at 4.

These are great little battteries. I got about 10 of these and all 10 arrived at perfect storage charge. I am doing fast forward circuits, and a few sport-style stunts (loops, rolls, no hard 3d yet). I get about 6 minutes out of them althought at 6 minutes the performance of the heli is nothing to write home about. Please not that with the mCPX my experience is the helicopter drops to a a nearly unusable level way before you drain your battery to even 80pcnt. After the 6 minutes I'm puuting anywhere from 190-210 mah back in the battery so only using about 60-70pcnt of the battery. In any case, this battery does perform better than the stock e-flite battery giving more power at a stable rate for a longer time.
definately better than stock and for the price, cant go wrong :)

Well I guess everyone has a different view. I have now used three different nano’ s and I didn’ t notice all that much difference with punch. Considering the batteries have 50pcnt more capacity it feels like about 20pcnt more of power and flight time. However if you consider the price then they are even better value. I found the nano’ s were EXACTLY the same as the stock battery in physical size, including the plug connector. The weight difference is insignificant. I purchased ten of them and I am NOT disappointed. Now when I go indoor flying I don’ t need to take the charger. I have one hour flying time! STANDARD BATTERY gives SIX minutes in normal mode hovering. NANO gives EIGHT minutes in normal mode hovering.
