Turnigy 1/8th Scale 4 Pole Brushless Motor - 1900KV
Purpose built for the high torque demands of 1/8th scale buggies and trucks the Turnigy 1/8th Scale 4 pole brushless motors feature external cooling, a serviceable can design and pre-soldered 4mm bullet connectors to get you on the track fast.
This motor is a perfect match for the Turnigy 160A 1:8th Scale Sensorless ESC, check out the related items below.
Features. High Torque 4 Pole Design. External cooling fins for better heat dissipation. Pre-soldered 4mm ESC connection leads. Serviceable motor can design
can anyone help I got this motor and ran about 5 minutes now the motor is cogging badly it will not turn even with no pinion on it, it just cogs terribly
Voltage x amperage = watts
This motor will get more torque than the trackstar 2650kv
But the overall performance of this motor is smaller than the trackstar 2650kv.
this motor is more suited to a larger 1/10 truck or a 1/8 buggy. putting this motor in a large, heavy 1/8 monster truck would be asking too much from a smaller motor. i would recommend the 4 pole 80mm length motors for an MGT 8.0.
my ecx revenge geared 48/16 runs faster than i can handle it with this motor. it will get warm to the touch in the grass after 20 minutes or so on 4s. i smoked the stock 2500 dynamite motor in less than a month.. it all depends on your terrain and gearing.
Yes you can. I run this motor in a 1/8 buggy and it runs very cool you don't need any heatsink. Its a very good motor
I am very happy with it.
here is a video how to install a similar motor www.link
this motor is perfect for a slash 4x4, but your esc will be the new weak point in the delivery of power. this motor will run best on 4s and the vxl can only handle 3s. this motor will run slower than the stock vxl motor on 3s, but you can compensate with a larger pinion gear.
It really does matter which set up you are using the motor in . For instance, I installed the motor in an hpi savage. That normally is a very heavy vehicle but I changed the gearing and, it cooled down the motor, but beware don't gear it down too much that can overheat the motor also
sincerely , i prefer more the 2100kv ! the 2100 have enorm torque and speed ! the perfect motor for a MT ! if you want speed and power choose the 2100kv , if you want tons of torque choose this motor ! I`l prefer the 2100kv motor perfect balance between TORQUE and SPEED !
This engine can be used in a boat but I would not recommend using this on more than a 2-3s. To increase voltage, you need water cooling but it is not possible to put the cooling jacket on this one. So sorry but this can not be used in your boat! I would recommend: XK4082
I am using this motor in my traxxas summit with the mamba max pro. I am running stock gearing and running on 2s and 3s only. Its insane with 4s and can't keep the front wheels on the ground. It crawls rather well with 2s only. I am waiting to receive the 1900kv motor and 160 amp esc.
For this price I love it! Nice option to use 4mm bolt option for mounting. Why the hollow shaft though, wouldn't that compromise durability?
I might just try the 1900 in my truggy.
hey glenners neu makes the rigid cans like this and they have water jackets for them so if you can find a jacket that fits this can which is 43mm then no probs you could use it in a boat
To Aurelia: first of all you have to make sure you find proper pinions to work with your spur. Blitz uses 48P gears and unless you have swapped to 32P gears, 48P pinions are hard to come by.
As far as ESC is concerned an 100A unit will probably be just fine, especially in the lightweight blitz.
Hope I helped.

Running this motor on a Savage Flux HP, in combination with the
Turnigy 160A 1:8th Scale Sensorless ESC. 22t pinion and 44t spur.
On 3s, awesome Torq and Wheelies, on 4s lots of speed, 46km/h on GPS, with standard motor timing and acceleration settings.
Good price, good motor.

Runs around 37mph geared with stock spur and 21t pinion. Great basher motor tons of torque i will be ordering a 2100 and another 1900 in two weeks to have as spares.
