this thing will fly alright if you cut a cheater hole in the bottom. then you can narrow the intake up front to look more scale. it does require a good heave to get flying, and isn't the most forgiving flier. Also CG ended up being way more forward than published.

I was impressed with the quality and construction of the plane, but had NO success flying it. After five unsuccessful attempts, this plane is headed for the trash can. The EDF was way under powered, it required a very strong hand launch, and I am certain that the published CG in the instructions is not correct. On the plus side, the material is very crash resistant, and the price is very good for what you get. I have been flying RC planes for over 20 years, and this ranks up there with the worst of them-not recommended.

OK, so I bought this last March and had absoulutely NO luck getting it to fly. Every hand launch reaulted in a flat spin and crash landing. Around summertime I got an aftermarket 50mm metal fan and motor that supposedly put out more thrust than the stocker. I have finally gotten it to fly, but you have to get a running start and absolutely perfect level launch. Throttle has to remain wide open for the most part, especially if there is any type of wind. It will stall VERY easily if you are not flying fast the whole time, which if the throttle is on will turn into a flat spin. Make sure you have altitude to recover from it by shutting the throttle off and nosing down, then punch throttle and level out again once it is moving fast again. As long as you are moving fast it flies ok and is nice looking in the air. Rolls are a little awkward looking, kind of like a football thrown with a less than perfect spiral. DO NOT attempt a loop!! It does not have the power to push through it, and will stall soon after going vertical, and most likely turn into a flat spin again. It is a very nice looking plane, and stays that way due to the light weight and durable foam (Only reason I gave it 3 crowns on quality). It's a good thing it's tough because you will be crashing alot while trying to learn how fly it!! Maybe with an even more powerful fan it would fly better? I don't know where you woul
