So, you want a fast parkflyer!? Forget boring scale details and shelf queen good looks this BF109 is built for speed and all out fun! Dog fight with friends on 3S or use a 4S pack for heart pounding high speed passes, either way the Fun fighters have you covered. The combination of the light weight EPO airframe, a high power brushless motor and a simple aileron and elevator setup place these models amongst the most exhilarating park flyers to hit the market this year. Dont be left out of the fun!
This model comes plug and fly and only requires a few minutes of assembly time and flies like its on rails thanks to the one piece molding technique used in the construction. All you will require to have the BF109 in the air is a 3~4S 850mAh 20C Lipoly battery and your own transmitter and receiver (Tx/Rx)
Well the model Gods Smile on you, it is available NOW (it cost a bit more. BF109 Funfighter - EPO 658mm (PNP) incl. High-Spec (3s~4s) ESC (DE Warehouse) {PRODUCT ID: BF109F-PNP} So BUY.
Anyone know if this range of 'funfighters' in general can fit a 3S 1300mAh lipo in? (I already have a bunch of these and hope they fit so I don't need to purchase new lipos)- thanks in advance!
This should be no problem! I use the turnigy 4S 1000mAh (T1000.4S.20) in my BF109 and this fits perfectly. An 5...8mm thicker, or 10...20mm longer accu would be no problem!
No way....this machine is much too agile and very fast. If you are a beginner start with a slow high winged aircraft like the Piper Cub or maybe the Decathlon. Hope this helps... Cheers
can you advice me wich is better?
hobbyking. www.link www.link www.link www.link www.link you rate it 1-5 wich is best for beginner and quality. thank you very much

bixler is good but im looking for the one with landing gear wich i feel that will ad more fun. and i think decathlon is not that durable on how the design looks
This plane is NOT FOR BEGINNERS!
My friend with around 10h practice with rc-planes, crashed his funfighter in the first try... But if you "camber" the aileron around 5mm you can fly surprisingly slow!
Agree with homermix on the decathlon. You should start with a high wing aircraft as these are more stable, normally slower & ideal for a newbie. The normal route is high wing trainer, low wing trainer and then you can move onto warbirds like this. However, small planes like this are difficult for experienced pilots too. Good luck & have fun.
I had three or four planes with limited success until I bought the Bixler. Superb flying, ideal for a beginner but can be pushed harder and harder as you improve. Perfect for mounting video or fpv so you will never outgrow uses for it. I had mine for about two years before wanting something smaller that would fit in the boot with a car full of kids when going away.

2mm gold plated banana connectors (which it also uses to go from the ESC to motor) which I'm not a fan of for battery connectors. I just pulled the ESC out and soldered on a JST plug to match the Turnigy 800mAh batteries. I honestly thought it might have come with a female JST pre-installed to be honest because that's what the Turnigy 800mAh batteries have. It's not a huge job and the plug will cost you a grand total of 74c (or $1.55 for the pigtail if they are in stock). The Nanotech 850mAh uses the XT-60 though. If I was going to use both I would have made converters to plug onto the existing banana connectors so there's more than one way you can approach this one.
Chulian...I would..Especially for you..Recommend the included ESC which...Only 2 times...Is statet by HK to be good for 4 cells in the as sold setup *-)
Hi, you have included an 20a esc upgrades for 4s but you have to know that is cheap. after a flight, i'ts really hot and you have to wait for the second one. One of mine is dead, upgrade whith an another one, more security
Chulian you did good ordering the 40 esc, I would go ahead and swap the esc. I own few of the series and the ones that fly on 4s- RareBear,T28,109,P51 have 40's with external becs. Also read up over at RCGROUPS forum there's alot of info on these warbirds Happy Flying.
This little plane is MENTAL!
Top tip, make sure when you set it up that hte aileron / elevator travel is set to low travel settings, to say it is VERY reactive is an understatement!
Excellent little plane though, the canopy fit could be better, but all in all a fab little flier!
I'm still on the stock ESC. It's still going strong for me. I've been thinking about ordering a spare ESC (plush or sentry) but for now i'll keep it stock.
had a crash today during my maiden with a 4S setup during start.
can someone tell me where is the cog?
i allready put some extra carbon tubes under the wings for fixation.
hopefully someone can tell me where the cog ist.
thanks
Use the wing servos cable as COG, this cables goes from each wing servo to the fuselage, the line it follows its pretty close to the COG so u can use it to set it up the COG
on second flight, the esc burned up. so i wanted to change the power transistors.
but i can´*t find any info about them. can someone please help me? any manual for the stock esc?
Don't rely on the ESC holding up under a 4s. 20A ESC, 25-28 amp draw. You might get away with it in the short term but the ESCs in these come back mighty hot on a 4s. Get yourself a 30A ESC if you plan on flying it on a 4s.

Absolutely fantastic plane, flies very well, heaps of power. Only complaint - the elevator servo failed on the 3rd flight - bye bye plane. Will buy another though (but replace the servos).

Oh my god, this one is great. Big fun. Crashed the first 3 times because I didn't follow the instructions on the extent of the ailerons and elevator. Nothing happened. Great durable quality. Loud and fast.
When will the funfighters be available in the EUROPEAN WAREHOUSE?
