What is correct timing and pwm? It's extremely hot.
I have replaced with another one motor 3800KV in same helicopter same setting and found out the another one very much cooler.
Thanks,
Der Motor schaltet sich entweder Richtung abhängig von der phasinging. Wenn es in die falsche Richtung geht, tauschen Sie zwei der drei Leitungen. Good Luck
Ich habe diesen Motor für meine HK450GT. Ich habe auch viele andere Turnigy Motoren. Sie sind alle sehr hoher Qualität. Ich denke, dies ist die beste 450er Hubschrauber Motor HK verkauft.
yes you can use in a glider, ten of the propeller is claculada, I did calcuro and your engine to helice colocalo in a glider Propeller this this engine generates more than 1200g of thrust and can get up to 125 miles / hour or 267 KM / h. so yes to use in the glider.
hi my fined i wont to know if this motor will help me to fly my airplain wich i made it (extra 300) wing length 100 cm : body 85cm : and ite 1.400 gram ??
and is this spead controler good for this motor ? http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__1143 0__HobbyKing_40A_BlueSeries_Brushless_Speed_Controll er.html or this one is better http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__8143_ _Turnigy_2627_Brushless_Outrunner_3800kv.html
This motor would be overkill on a 3D plane. You need something in the order of a 1000kv (1000rpm) motor with something from a 10/38(10" length x 3.8" forward movement) to no more than a 12/5 slow fly prop.
If you want a cheap heli motor to run 4S on 70mm EDF use Turnigy 2836 3700kv instead. It has more power at 700W and it has 3.17mm shaft so it is easier to find the impeller hub since the impeller hub is only available for 3.17 or 4mm shaft. If you use this motor, I doubt it can handle 4S as it is only 420 W motor, even if it does, it will be very hot. Besides, you have to drill the impeller hub to accommodate the 3.5mm shaft
I agree with you EDF Freak. I'm using the motor you said in a funjet with 7,5x5,5 impeller 3s lipo.

I purchased this to try as the normal one I get was out of stock. Have it set up in coptX 450, have found that it is very very hungry, flight times at hover are down to less than 5 minutes on near new 2200mah batteries.
Previous motors was up to 10 to 12 minutes with Turnigy 450 Brushless Heli Motor 2830 3500kv.
Also motor is very hot at the end of 5 minutes
Nice looking unit though, just not suitable for my needs
Realmente um motor de bom desenpenho, este vai para uma zagi para alta performance.

This motor is lighter weight than Scorpion 4200Kv, power also good.
Once tested this motor with 12T pinion and Turnigy AE 45A Esc,
found that this motor enough power for all 3D move, can do fast side Toc too..
If scorpion 4200kv motor, run 11T and big 60A ESC. too heavy.
These pair 3700Kv and AE 45A Esc is great..
One word.... Good.. cheaper price..
Test it yourself and rate it here... share with our same hobby member..
Thanks..
