Just received 3 of these ZIPPY Flightmax 4000mAh 4S1P 40C lipos. They WILL NOT BALANCE. I usually charge my lipos first and then balance them after charging. These batteries will not balance. Any ideas?

I have had this happen periodically, especially with Turnigy. I just do a balancing DISCHARGE and then charge them back and they usually balance fine. If they don't you will KNOW you have a bad battery.

Great battery !!! GREAT price!!! shpping only took about 4 days!!!!!!!!!!! and the price comon guys 35dlls!!! i can even get a 2s lipo and LHS for that price!! and i got a 4s 40c!!! for only 35dlls!!

I have been a Zippy fan for a number of years with HK. I have this battery that is about 3 months old and has performed flawlessly until last week. The problem is that the white wire from the balance tap that goes into the battery has come off. It has not been handled roughly at all. The reason that I'm writing is that another Zippy 2200 battery that I got about 3 months ago just did the exact same thing. I'm wondering if it's a quality control issue. I'm not comfortable soldering the battery so I'm just charging without balancing now which will cut the life of the battery. Cmon Zippy solder 'em better.
