I fly mode 1 and the aileron control is on the throttle stick and the rudder control is on the elevator stick, Did they make the yak 54 like this on purpose? so hard to fly like this, if it is a fault, I can't send it back because I already damaged it, do you know how I can change it? is it ment to be like this?
HK please fix your shipping options.
Why on earth show us a whole heap of shipping options, but when I go to check out and Pay there's only china EMS. Where all the others shipping option gone.
When that happens to me what I do add some small very cheap item like heat shrink to my cart. then, once in checkout the other shipping options should be available.
Mine has just arrived and after few crashes the receiver unit stop working, usually there will be a red light when I connected the batt, but this time the light never come up. I wonder if there's a replacement for the board?
I'm sure you'll be able to get a replacement board, but normally the board costs almost as much as the whole plane. It's better just to get a new plane and keep the old one for spares.
After a few flights this thing suddenly lost its range if flying further away than 15 to 20 meters. I purchased the receiver set and after installation and binding the rudder is now on the right stick and aileron on the left stick! Range is ok, now, though it´*s useless nevertheless...NE and this plane especially sucksss!
Mine arrived with the Motor 10 degrees off center, so the propeller does no sit straight. I removed the canopy to fix it and found that the glue they used is of a spongy nature, not quite hot gun stick glue, more like silicone. What can I use as a replacement glue after aligning the motor? Sorry, this is my first foam RC item and I don't know. *blush*
It really just come down to paperwork. In the U.S. anything with a transmitter has to be FCC approved. In Europe it must be EC (I believe)approved. If the appropriate paperwork is not provided with the shipment it may not clear customs.
hi jordan , please dont go for that model , my cousin has one of these which was purchased locally , the main thing to consider is the battery life , you can get even 3 mins of flying time with this cheap battery , its a **** dont go for it . sorry HK
I got the rtf version I loved it except most of the time trying to land the prop always comes off it comes off very easily. Not good at all for beginners pretty hard to fly. If you are trying to get the most flight time maybe around 6-7 minutes.pretty good at some aerobatics.
Hi Guys,
Im own one of these and im really dissapointment with battery life. I got two of them and average fly is around 2 min. Then there is no enough power to climb. Battery is around 4V (3.96) then.
Is that normal???
or there is something wrong with mu model???
Please advise.
Damian
I have ordered one of these, but haven't received it yet. Some ESCs have a hig/med./low voltage cutoff setting. Maybe yours is set on high voltage cutoff, if it has that option.
yes Damian even my cousin has the same plane which was purchased from a local store , its flying time is just about 3 mins , you can get a 240mah replacement not more than that , and then you can fly 5 mins max
Hey, i was once in your position too. Aerobtic planes seems small and light which most probably tricked you into thinking it is a great crash resistant plane for beginners. This plane flies as fast as it looks and is designed for more complex manovers. I would suggest a trainer or a glider sort of plane. These planes are slower and easier to control during flight. They should also withstand tougher landings. I would suggest the bixler as the propeller will no brek on contact because it is not in
That'll depends on the skill of the pilot. Usually it is a lot harder for such small planes due to the the lack of inertia of the plane. A plane with wingspan of 800mm or more will be easier.
Turnigy nano-tech 130mah 1S 25C Lipo Pack (Nine eagles style-T1 single rail for 2010 ) out of stock,i bought 5. radio is switchable from mode 1 or 2,on back remove 2 screws & flip antenna 180 degress. see video on youtube, there are many.
this battery is from hobbyking and works fine on the yak 54 Turnigy nano-tech 160mah 1S 25C Lipo Pack (Nine Eagles style - T1 Single Rail for 2010 )the transmitter is mode two and mode one
the people who own the brand dont want HK dropping the 300% to 500% profit margins of the old shops down to HK's 1-10%. So HK is prohibited from selling in their territories it is called territory licencing and is illegal in the countries not listed eg Australia
it is also bad for the brand and the old shops because people will know the old hobby shop is making the excess margin on evrything not just the products HK show to be overpriced and it is bad for the brand because others will want to make a near copy very cheap and sell into protected market 20% cheaper making 500-600% (because its bad quality) then taking the trade from protected brand. no licenced territories is the way to go quality brands carry 33% markup cheap ones 3-5% better for us larger total sales for brands
sry here is short version...... shops in the countries listed have got together to stop manufactures selling to hobby king. because hobby king reduces profit margind to a fair level and the shops want unfair profits.....ps it is sad u have the time to click urself 15,764 times lol
some 1 else kliked u 15k times?..ok!..*} .............ppl who have flown this speak highly of the plane........ for me the nut on the stick is the problem lol
it's not a 3d plane. It's an aerobatic 4 channel plane, but you can't hold it in a hover. Personally I think that's cheating when a plane has no danger of stalling out, but everyone has a different preference.
If you don't have the transmitter you have to buy one. If you do have the transmitter it's on the back I prefer buying the charger anyway cause charging from the transmitter drains the AA batteries
Actually the parkzone models are restricted to $pektrum or JR DSM radios, which are very expensive. Alternatively, you can buy the RTF version of the parkzone ultra-micro and get a cheap radio that is about par with this one for quality.
But russia is not europe and anyways copyright laws dont work in russia? and furthermore i made a search and was unable to find any authorised reseller of nine eagles, let alone this specific model. So i cant buy it in russia, i cant order it from hobbyking, is there some kind of international sanctions that prohibit shipment of nine eagles YAK's to russia? After all, its us who made this plane in the first place!!
On l'a dé*jà* dit, les distributeurs europé*ens se seraient plaints auprè*s de Nine Eagles qui aurait exigé* des revendeurs asiatiques de ne plus vendre en Europe.
Pepople use your brains. Its prohibited because of radio not being compliant for those countries.
And for love of god Hobby King, there is no Yugoslavia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! War ended 15 years ago!! Your knowledge is terrible...
Hobbyking needs to figure a way around this. Too many cool products getting ballbusted by european asshole importers forcing us to pay out the nose (this plane costs DOUBLE here!)
This has nothing to do with them, It is because 2.4 radio from this package has not passed necessary tests in order to be legally imported to those countries.
Still, they should find a way around it. Bribe a checking agent for all I care. If those hobnobs on ebay can get away with this, so should hobbyking. Just sayin. *)
Additionally, did you notice the bind and fly version which has no transmitter at all, is also prohibited in all these countries? Smells like something entirely different don't it?
From where do you get the information that the TX has not passed its emissions tests. There are many shop here in Germany selling the same thing for around 80 Euro.
Can only be a distribution agreement/licensing issue
Anthony, that has nothing to do with EC, is it legaly approwed for europe, does it have EC Declaration of Conformity?
Non of your radio products that I have ordered had that.
Guys, you all missed the Solo Pro 328 story. HK can't resell Nine Eagles products to Europe if he still wants to resell elsewhere in the world. Looks like local distributors complained... I just hope we will be able to purchase the spare parts from HK :-)
I'm either buying hobbyking or nothing at all. I would buy this for 60 bucks, but I sure as hell wouldn't buy it at the local price of 120 bucks. Local distributors can kiss em! Everyone who seriously thinks of buying local should be alerted about this disgusting artificial market inflating. Boycot the bastards and let em boil in their own juices!
Why so heavy??
The larger NE extra300 has less weight, why?

A few things befor flying! I moved all the controls to its MAXimum movement and also the wheels need to be taken off and sand the paint off the lading gear so the wheels will spin with more ease. The CG is spot on with the battery installed. I have good experience with flying micros but this plane will take afew flights of flying crash laning it and triming it and crash landing it again till you will get a good flight out of it.
I could say I stold this little plane from HK unbelievable they say you get what you pay for, but not with this plane easy to fly and a little over half a hundred and you got fun for days I mostly got this for my grand son looks like I'm going to have to buy one for gramps too ,Thanks H K great way for pop's and the boy too bond and stuff.
