ZH YAK-54 EP 45inch ARF Laser cut ply & balsa. Includes mount, carbon fiber tubing and accessories. (some not shown in image) Amazing construction and ultra light design make this a really nice plane to fly. With a 36M motor and 1800mAh 3S1P pack this plane will hover on 3/4 throttle.

Flight/Build Report. Yak54 comes with nice instructions (including pictures and decent english) as well as a full set of hardware. Control horns are not fantastic, though do the job. Apart from the control horns, this kit is A-grade and of very high quality. Assembly went together easily, although we beefed-up the engine mount with extra epoxy. We chose the KDA35-12L motor with the HXT036 esc to power this plane. HXT2200mAh 3S1P lipos were used as the power source. GWS Park servo for the rudder and GWS Nano servo for the Elevator. Ailerons need 1 servo each, we used the 9320 servos for this. First flight was more than exciting as the plane took a nose dive, but quickly recovered. A quick landing and change of CG as per instructions, and the Yak54 was off again for another flight. This plane flys extremely nicely, and very quite with the KDA35-12L on a 11x4.7 thin e-prop. Unlimited verticle and a very snappy knife edge and snap rolls, thanks to the pull-pull rudder system and large throws on the GWS Park servo. Landings need to be gentle, as this is a light plane. Postage weight appears heavy due to double boxing of product. We are aware of how brutal international postal systems can be. Thats why we double box every plane, to ensure it arrives in the same condition as it left the warehouse.
I know, when you try to stick a motor that's very powerful or overpowering it may impact or create damage, but the airframe of this aircraft is excellent, the fabrication quality is 5 stars, the only suspect in this model is the engine mount.
plane is actually made by and Identical To Hyperion Yak Just Diff Scheme But Construction motor box looks 100% Hyperion Just like they used to carry Edge 540 Which i bought $50 cheaper then my Hyperion edge 540 25E when it arrived it was IDENTICAL to Hyperion,interchangable parts 100% same plane but ****py instructions

Dont waste any money on this POS. The motor cage just disentergrated upon testing. You definitely get what you pay for. I dont know what I expected for 80$. Gonna stick to my extreme flight 300 exp.
Great model, I recieved in the mail quickly, quality was great paint job great, I may modify a few things to avoid haveing trouble like engine mount, hinges, etc. Model is great highly recomend this aircraft!

ARF arrived promptly from usa warehouse. Everything looked great, assembly went well until I tried to plug in the wing panels. I GOT TWO RIGHT WING PANELS !!! I guess I will find out what HK customer service is like.

Plane was packaged well and shipped quickly. The hardware kit could be improved upon, but it was only $80. The aileron hinges were not centered and needed to be reslotted. Do yourself a favor and reinforce the motor box with light ply and epoxy. I epoxied all the corners and it still ripped apart at about 3/4 throttle. It is a builders arf.
