More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech lithium polymer batteries are built with an LiCo nano-technology substrate complex greatly improving power transfer making the oxidation/reduction reaction more efficient, this helps electrons pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance.
In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rate than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) battery.

The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives.
1) The nanometer conductive additives form ultrastrong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.
2) These additives create a superstrong ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion.
Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.
Advantages over traditional Lipo batteries;
-Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg.
-Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load.
-Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mΩ compared to that of 3mΩ of a standard Lipoly.

ok, and update on these batteries. i have just charged 2 of them on my Hyperion. i charged them at 2C (8.8A) and the batteries never went higher than 23 deg c and internal resistance was at 2 ohms. for the next charge, i am going to try 3C and see what happens. i think the 8C rating in the listing is the correct maximum charge rate. there is no mention on the battery itself that says the maximum rate though. i will post the results of my next charge run for all to see.

this is a little confusing. in the product description above, it says 8C maximum charge rate. same as all my other nanotech batteries.. 8C would be 35.2A and my charger can do 20A max. there is no mention on the battery itself of a max charge rate. can someone here please confirm the actual max charge rate allowed for the 3S 4.4 nanotech ?

these have the same high C charge rate that most of the nanotech's have.i charged 2 of them yesterday ad 2C (8.8A) and they never got warmer than 23C and the internal resistance was 2 ohms. im going to charge them at 3C 13.2A next time and report back.

Only batery. Afordable price for this excellent bat. I used for first and second time, cheked OHM's and still under 2 per cell: Very good.

always best for any battery to be charged at 1c it will prolong their life for a while...

Ottima lipo, funziona alla grande promette quello che dice. Non scalda, non gonfia e dura tanto, le celle rimangono fino alla fine perfettamente bilanciate. Sono state testate con il catamarano genesis a 6s con motore leopard da 2400watt 2650kv, elica octura da 45. provate per 6min di continuo a tutta forza con una temperatura finale di 38 c°. Fantastiche!!!!!!
