More than just a fancy name. After only 4 cycles of two of these batteries used in my ERBE, one of these batteries puffed and started to emit gas while being charged. They are less than 3 months old. The battery was being charged * 3.9amps (which is all my current charger can put out at 11.1v). The batteries were both handled with the care li-po's should be I have several other batteries which are charged with the same charger with no issue. Upon repoting the issue the response was, "Sorry, no warranty after 30 days". I understand things go wrong however the response was very discouraging. I won't be buying these batteries, or any others from HK in the future.
Also just wanted to add here the battery actually caught fire after I removed it from the charger. It was in a Li-po sack however if I had not been regularly checking on it, who knows what might of happened, BEWARE of cheap batteries, they are not worth the money or the time.
I need 120 amp with 6S and these lipo´*s can´*t handle it for only 2 sec.. I have 2 and one is maybe 20C and the other is maybe 30C not more. First i charged them good with 1 amp and dischareged with 0.5 amp then charged with 5amp. I always use a telementery system and the cells where around 4.18 volt.. On the moment i hit full throtle 2 cels dropped to 2.7 volt and the other cells dropped to 3.5 volt. My set up:Pursuit brushles with 4082 2200kv 120a 27volt brushless motor on a turnigy 180a esc with external bec.. My other turnigy 5000 mah 40C lipo´*s have no problem with this setup and don´*t get hot.. I will try if these nano can handle the waste bin becouse for the waste bin you only need 0C...
i use 2x3s and one of then blow up .i use than two tims only .they are relly sucks .. i have also have 8 Turnigy nano-tech 5000mah 3S 65~130C Lipo Pack.and they just sucks. cheap is cheap. we buy cheap and will get cheap stuff ... spend more money and u will not have the any problens with warranty..germany have warranty for two years... if it not your fault..

ive had these lipos in my e revo drawing heavy current through custom 8 gauge wire and have never had problem you need to check your setup cuz thats where id start

How many cycles the battery duration?
the nano-tech batteries are recommended, for now only problem I had with nano-tech swelled
never had a problem with the battery ZIPPY
Hi guys just got two of these batteries for my erevo and i am now having trouble pulling wheelies and top speed is low. Running standard gearing and slipper clutch is tightened. Have run 20c batteries that seemed alot better than these. Any suggestions?
Just got two on Monday. Don't have a erevo however based on measurements they will fit just barely. They are BIG packs. See link. May have to make wire holes bigger. www.link
Hi just cut the fins out of the rear battery air vents and feed the cables through there also if your running two packs you might want to look at geting road tyres, the off road ones on the e revo are only good for about 60mph 100kmph then they balloon and you lose control.
yes they fit my 1/16 erevo beautifully awesome batteries plenty of punch a little snug and you have to mod the battery door but man well worth it feeds my mamba and catle creations plenty of power just ordered another now i know they fit i have some 2.25 on the way as well ill post if they fit when i get them
I have a E-revo 1/10th and these batteries fit perfectly. Have to run cables through vents though since the gauge of wire is so thick. Make that truck scream with the mamba!!!
However make sure that you have a cooling fan on your motor as it culd burn it. I am using 53t spur and 25T pinion and this thing goes over 70, however if using higher gearing just do it for speed runs and monitor the temperature.
Hi guys just got myself 2 of these batteries for my erevo. I have a problem as I have trouble doing wheelies and top speed is not very good. Running stock gearing and slipper clutch is tightened. Have run 20c batteries that seemed alot better. Any suggestions?
Thanks rally3 for the suggestion but I have already rebuilt the gearbox before the batteries arrived although I have fixed the wheelie problem by setting esc motor timing to normal instead of highest. Top speed is still an issue I can't even make the three balloon :-(

Bought one of these for my HPI Savage xs Flux and they just fit, had to trim the outter case for the wires and change the connector to a deans. Awsome battery, Cheapest site A* Hobbyking!

Bought 4 of these beasts now - using for my E-Revo brushless - they are a perfect fit - no adjustment needed. These provide awesome power just make sure your truggy is upto it. Will update review after a few dozen charges.

Excelente bateria , vc pode sentar o dedo no acelerador que ela mal esquenta !!
Atenção , não cabe no compartimento da Traxxas Rustler VXL , mas da para usar . Ela fica inclinada para fora do compartimento e pode ser fixada com elástico de asa de avião , presos aos grampos que seriam usados para fixar a trava de bateria comum .
Estou usando assim , sem problemas .
