Finally, a nano-tech has arrived for your Align Trex 100 helicopter. Boost the performance of your machine with this 1S 160mAh 25-40C high power Lipo.
More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech lithium polymer batteries are built with an LiCo nano-technology substrate complex greatly improving power transfer making the oxidation/reduction reaction more efficient, this helps electrons pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rate than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) battery. For those that love graphs, it means a straighter, longer curve. For pilots it spells stronger throttle punches and unreal straight-up performance. Excellent news for 3D pilots!
Unfortunately with other big brands; numbers, ratings and graphs can be fudged. Rest assured, TURNIGY nano-techs are the real deal, delivering unparalleled performance!
* The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives. 1) The nanometer conductive additives form ultrastrong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity. 2) These additives create a superstrong ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly. Advantages over traditional Lipo batteries; -Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg. -Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load. -Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mΩ compared to that of 3mΩ of a standard Lipoly. -Greater thermal control, pack usually doesnt exceed 60degC -Thickness swelling during heavy load doesnt exceed 5%, compared to 15% of a normal Lipoly during heavy load. -Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate. -Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries. -Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.
Any idea if this battery fits the V911 ?
If not, where can i buy the landing gear for the v911 that allows me to use this battery?
Sorry if this question has been asked before.
Just copy the tab for the original lipo nano tech is very easy, just a little cyano, some carbon fiber, and ready, go perfect in my fp 100, see the photo in the files tab.
I had a confusion about the 10C. I usually charge at 1C, in order to preserve the battery's life time - but you can charge at 2C with no problems. More then that you need to watch it carefully and check if it is getting warm. There are some batteries (but not this one) that can be charged in a high C rate - but their price is far higher. These batteries are cheap, so you can try chraging them on a high C rate, but take into account they won't last for long - and most important, watch them carefully, causing fire is not worth the time that you saved!!! it is better to just get a few more batteries and chargers, and chrge them all in parallel.
I charge at 1C too, it's just this little battery surprised me when it said 10C. I always check temp of battery's constantly, because I don't have a LiPo Safe bag
I have 6 of them for my little T-REX. Hm, they're about 1g lighter than stock, have 10mAh more capacity, have higher C rate (25C),are 3mm shorter and you get 20seconds more flight time. That's my experience with NANO-tech. cheers
It should fit, though you might have to add a little tape or something on the tail to balance the extra weight, because this battery is 30mah more, so a tad heavier. But the small amount of extra weight shouldn't hurt flight performance much
Nanotechs tend to be lighter than an average LiPo. There is a very insignificant increase of <0.5grams for that extra 30mah. However true that a little tape will do the job for balancing if required.
No. it fit in the fp100 but the the 2 rail (metal line) is not touching each other. so it does not fire up. suppose you can bend the 2 metal up and might work. thats trying to do.
YEP I just tried it, this work with fp100. but your gotta mode the heli just a bit by getting a small flat head screw driver and lift the two metal plates where you put the lipo in. just lift it up so it touches the 2 metal plates on the lipo and it works fine. and then tape the lipo becasue it just a bit slightly loose.
Just a warning this nano doe fit in the fp100 with a bit of mode. BUT some how the flight time is not as long or as good as the original lipo pack that came with the fp100.
So just keep that in mind.
can someone advise me what I need to buy in order to get this battery to work on the Solo pro V2 sold on HK? I currently have a Trex 100, so I would like to share the batteries between the 2 helis once I receive it.
Hey bud. I dont think the trex100 female plug is available. You could get the $7.00 trex100 landing skid, and cut the plug free from it and solder it in place of the plug on your solo. Good luck
Straight good fit to Solo pro V2 batteries in HK, there are 3 options: GENUINE 120mah, weight 3.7gr (search NE4950001). Aftermarket 120mah, weight 3.7gr (search NE-B918). Aftermarket 150mah, weight 4.2 gr (search NE-1501S). I recommend the 150mah.
Still I recommend the nano lipos with those standard MINIJST connectors. Then solder new MINIJST female end to heli skid so both batt can be used. Nanos are superior to the originals. Half the price, way more power, longer flight and easy to parallel charge with harness. Female connectors (10pcs) for this nano batt searh HK for "MINIJST-EXT5". Now cut one and solder to copter and use the others to make parallel charging harness. For ready made charging harness search "PICMX6".
no it no fit it have a different connector URGENT DON USE THIS.
use this one. www.link Turnigy 160mAh 1S 30C (Eflite, Minium compatible) or the nanotech one BUT THERE'S NOT STOCK.
Good Lipo , but doesn't fit the FP100(WL V911) . Modified the connector but the Lipo didn't fit charger after modif . Working on a home-made connector because I don't like to tape the battery on the heli ( flight safety ) .

2 thumbs up!
I had assumed this battery to be compatible with HK FP100 / WL-V911, but I was wrong. Significant modifications are required to fit the battery into the FP100 / V911. The work required is tough. I had to trim the plastic rails then pry out the battery contacts, after all that, the battery will not be snugly held to the stock holder. I had to tie the front and back of the battery with 2 rubber bands and the final result wobbles. The battery might be disconnected during jerky movements and cause the helicopter to fall out from the sky!
I should have bought the compatible batteries instead.
This does fit the trex 100 x but does not fit the FP100 without the modified skids or trex 100 skid. Trex 100 flew straight into the sealing with same launch, had too readjust gain to stop tail wag with this battery power

1 thumbs up!
This is great small little lipo, and the best part is it fits too the HK fp100 too. although you have to do a bit of mode to the heli. which is easy as. just get a small flat head screw drive and lift the 2 metal plates upwards on the heli where you put the lipo in. so that the 2 plates are toughing the lipo metal plates and your done. and the other good thing is you can use the charger that come with the fp100 to charge it aswell.
recommended if you want to have another spare or extra flight time for the fp100.
Good job HK love it.

These batteries do NOT fit in the FP100 despite what the idiot Maunmy says. They do fit in the charger but thats no use...waste of money
