* The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives.
1) The nanometer conductive additives form ultrastrong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.
2) These additives create a superstrong ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion.
Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.
Advantages over traditional Lipo batteries;
-Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg.
-Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load.
-Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mΩ compared to that of 3mΩ of a standard Lipoly.
-Greater thermal control, pack usually doesnt exceed 60degC
-Thickness swelling during heavy load doesnt exceed 5%, compared to 15% of a normal Lipoly during heavy load.
-Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate.
-Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries.
-Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.

Is this compatible with the 1.16 Traxxas Summit
 daniel 9 points
Definately not. You should be looking for something at least 1600mah and be 2-3s
Jaxon249  10 points - 1/22/2013

Is this compatible with the " Losi Micro-T?"
 daniel 9 points
Yes. Im using mine in the same car. Its the two outer wires that supply current, the middle on is just a balance lead

I am looking for substitutes batteries for the E-Flight 130X and 300X, current batteries are EFLB 1350 3S30 and EFLB 8300 2S35. Thank you for your help.
 customer5 295 points
For the blade 130x the Nanotech 300mah fits. For the blade 300x there are the 1300mah Nanotech 3S lipos. Do a quick search for them and you'll find them a lot cheaper and better than eflite lipos.
daniel  9 points - 11/13/2012

Yes it fits. I have this battery in my micro t. You need to solder a new connector but it does fit and work.

Does ı*t work with umx carbon cub ss?
 customer5 295 points
YES! This works with the UMX carbon cub! The connecters are the same so you can use it in your UMX cub and charge it with the same plug.

I have this charger:

/__6478__IMAX_B6_AC_Charger_Discharger_1_6_Cells_GEN
UINE_.html
How
i CAN CHARGE and balanced charge that lipo (or the originale 180mah eflite lipo) with that charger?
There is a possibility to charge more that one lipo at the same time with my balanced charger? (there is some adapters?)
Thx
 bwoollia 320 points
I purchased an adapter made by E-Flite at my LHS for about $5, the part number is EFLA700UM. It charges one battery at a time.
 Maurizio 19 points
Bur I can use with my imax charger? Ebay setup on iMac charger for harge 2 lipo 2s at The same time? If I sant ot use a balanced charger with imax what adatterà* I need? (see details of imax on The link I post before) Thx
 bwoollia 320 points
Check out the "New Items" page - there is a product called "6 x Parallel JST-PH Charge Lead for E-flite UMX Series 2S Lipoly". That will work for your www.link

I have had both the umx stryker and the beast as3x and yes these batteries have given me more flight time and more power on top of that . I ran both the 180 and the 200 mah e-flite packs and still prefer these. Hope this helps!

Are hobbyking going to come out with a 2s 300mah nanotech for the blade 130x? please do, cause the eflite ones are £*9.99 in the uk!!
 ronhogwarts 28 points
We also need a parallel lead for these hobbyking, plug in 6 of these 2s lipos in (female Jst-PH) and jst-xh 2s balance male plug output and 4mm bananna plug from charger! see www.link
 customer5 295 points
Maybe....they should also come out with a 240mah 2S for the UMX MIg and Sbach! 180mah is not enough for these micros:).
 TOMRE 36 points
No, they wont come out with one ever. I suggest to help get the CG further forward on the helicopter, a nice nail through the battery helps give it some nose weight. Then some tin foil around the receiver a nice bit of glue on all those fiddly bits in the servos. She'll be good.

What kind of cable di I need to charge/balance this batteri?
 customer5 295 points
There are several ways to do this. One is to make your own charging cable and use the stock UMX battery charger as a balancer. 2 is to switch out the connector for a better micro connector (that you already have) 3. You can search up rc-connectors, they sell presoldered charging wires. To balance the battery You'll need to mod your charger balancer port. I reccomend #2, just switch out the connector (no need to balance 2 cell, they should come already balanced, after using it for many many cycles the voltage is within 0.02V of each of that's acceptable)
 louigi600 218 points
First of all you will need a Lipo Battery charger that supports balanced charging. Once you have that it will probabbly become clear to you how to connect the battery for balanced charging.
 Tony Desimone 12 points
HK does not have a charge cable for them yet, that I know of, Eflite does though, EFLA700UM. This will allow you to charge and balance from a smart charger very easy.
 Marlin 13 points
You can buy a cable from rcconnectors**** which allows you to charge with a charger that DOES NOT charge through the balance port, such as the IMAX B6, etc. As well, the simple Eflite 2 cell chargers that come with the Eflite micros works fine on this battery. Can also use the Parkzone 2/3 cell lipo chargers that come with any parkzone bind and fly plane.

Hey, Danny, since HK sells internationally, and this product is available through the international warehouse, who the hell are you to regulate what language is spoken here?
Back in the 1930's there was a name for people like you, it starts with N, then the first letter, A, wee all go to the Zoo, and frozen water is called Ice.
Figure it out.

While you're at it, if you're going to insist on a particular language, you might want to learn to spell.

Do these have a Balance plug? I have 5 on order for my New UMX Mig15 from e-flight(Pre Ordered)*) I also ordered 2 Pin JST to 6 x E-Flight Ultra Micro plug Charging Harness. Wondering if these well need balancing. Fromthe picture i can not see a BAL plug? I do have the XT60charging board i could use the BAL 2S ports if need be?

Ok thanks, yea i noticed these have 3 wires? from the pic anyway, ****!! so i guess the 2 Pin JST to 6 x E-Flight Ultra Micro plug well not work? as it only has 2wires? So i guess i could still charge more then one at a time with the XT60 Board i have? just plug em into the 2S BAL ports? Cheers
 ChiefTodd 48 points
I would think the MCPX-CHAR charging leads that HK sells will charge these just fine. I've ordered 6 of these batts and a couple of the charging leads for my Beast and Iron Cub. The Iron Cub does come with the balance charger that EFlite wants $29 for so I'll try charging them both ways and then testing them to see if both cells get charged evenly or even close enough.
 eastcoast78 75 points
this is the one i got coming with the batts, not sure if it well work? or if this is the one you are referring www.link
 eastcoast78 75 points
Cheif, seems they well only work for 1S? Ive search here and was looking for a way to charge mutable batts at the same time with my Triton Eq charger. But seems that is not looking promising.
 Casss 6 points
these batteries come only with a balance plug. I got them for a losi micro rally car and they fit with plenty of space. I did have to solder on a couple of extra wires.

Need the above battery for a Losi 1:24, bnd rock crawler but with Losi Micro connector, or an adapter that will work with the eflite ultra micro plug. Jay
 Frisco 210 points
You can find the adapter to connect it to this lipo in old CD rom drives. It it used in many types to connect the CD-eject motor with the main PCB. It did this to create an additional lipo for my Beast as well as an additional charger cable, so it will also work for this lipo. Just search some old CDR drives! Good luck! regards, Henning

Mine icharger also wont charge from the balance only. Just add a JST connector to the outer wires of the adapter.

Search for "micro jst ph 3 pin" on the bay and you will find the e-flite connectors. So you must solder an e-flite plug to a normal 2s balance lead, then add a charge lead that you like. You must solder black to black (-) and red to red ( )of the charging cable on the balance plug.

anyone know if this battery fits in the losi micro 1/24 sct? or if you know of another battery that works?
 customer5 295 points
I don't think this battery plug will work in a micro car, since this one uses a different plug that no one else except Eflite/Parkzone UMX aircraft. You will need to switch out the plugs.
 fapsauss 183 points
You need a connector. Search "micro jst ph 3 pin" on the bay.

if you look in the batt section again there is another nanotech 180mah 2s with a different part number and that one is in stock as far as i can tell there is no difference i am using them in my umx beast and there awesome

my apologys it seams they are on backorder now they were not the last time i checked they seam to get them in pretty frequently. up by the description there is a place where you can add your email address and they will send you a message when they come in. i ordered mine only 7 or 8 days ago but is is a very popular batt so i cant imagine it will be long untill they get more

I have soldered one by myself (Ultra Micro to JST XH balancer) because none existing. Now I use this cable mainly as adapter to the Voltage checker, as I found out that the original E-flite charger balances quite well.

I ordered a few of these batteries alone, a couple days ago. I now have a tracking number. The puzzling thing is it is a Swiss Post tracking number, whereby I was expecting a HongKong tracking number (didn't pay any more than int'l air postal from HK to USA). I just hope the shipment goes directly to my door, instead of going 3/4 around the world by way of Switzerland/Europe. www.link
 Maciej 1 points
It will go directly, Swiss Post seems to handle a lot of logistics/shipping out of Asia directly to North America.

I love it, and its about time, but what about a charge plug?
 rcozstyle 315 points
While I agree with your comment because one of my chargers will not charge a lipo unless its got a balance plug, but I am also told that with 2s the cells dont need balancing.
 Robachan 1092 points
I guess my big monitor lets me see what you guys don't. This battery has 3 wires coming from it, red, blue and black, so you can balance it, just like the battery it replaces. And 2S still need to be balance charged to be safe. You're fine not balancing them as long as both cells are good. But when one of the two cells goes bad, you could be in trouble (i.e. catching fire, due to the good cell getting pushed to too high voltage). So, if you can't balance charge them, make sure you charge them in a lipo-safe pack (cheap insurance).
 davecrash 110 points
The charger you got with the UMX Sbach etc should work just fine.
 RealGambler 54 points
*rcozstyle: You can also buy an adapter from HH that will allow you to charge those from pretty much any chargers. Has two banana plug, one relatively standard JST plug, and a connector for that battery.

when i got my mcpx i found some connectors on ebay and made myself a 6 x parallel charge cable - it took me hours to solder them all (my soldering skills are improving but still pretty bad) - a couple months later HK released the same thing for sale for $1.15. what i'm asking for is a charge adapter like what HH sell but at 1/4 of the price.cheers

*RealGambler Hello, which cable are you talking about ? I'm looking for those "JST-PHR3" (both side charger/battery) for a moment now and I can't find them. If you may show the link, I would be very nice

Stephane: Google for part number EFLA700UM for the standard charger adapter with JST plug and EFLA7001UM for the Thunder Power adapter. If you want to make you own cables then check DigiKey pn: 455-1126-ND, 455-1127-1-ND and 455-1705-ND

thx a lot RealGambler ! I've also found already made cables on the bay that "may" suit those... With a buddy code, they are almost half price.
 e_lm_70 431 points
Yes, for 4.99$ is way overpriced. For same 5$ price you get a 3S 1000mAh 25C ... that's way there is a big discount on buddy code
 segmentfault 72 points
It's only $2.56 with a buddy code. If you order them, post your buddy code in rcgroups**** and someone will order them with your buddy code and you'll get the refund back from $4.99.
 e_lm_70 431 points
buddy code should be shared here: hk (dot) rc-international (dot) info ... I know the rcgroup page for buddy code, but this site is better since has an easy search function, and enter code is faster too
 Robachan 1092 points
Thanks to all 3 of you for the buddy code info. Why haven't I used them earlier!!? Was only able to buy 3 with the code, but still good.
 e_lm_70 431 points
Yes, the buddy code allows only to fill an order with 3 items. But I think it is possible to make a second order using the same buddy code.

Really useful battery for micros.5mins hard running on Micro Slick only decreased voltage to 3.8V on balancer.Overcame E-flite plug problem by purchasing JST-XH extension lead.Solder male socket end in place of E-flite on battery(go carefully solder each wire in turn as you cut to avoid shorts already colour coded).Solder female JST-XH, in place of red JST-mini on Micro Slick(just red and black needed, support wire side with epoxy or shrink tube as the pins can push through).Connect sockets together to switch on plane. If you buy several JST-XH extension leads you can make up a balancer charge lead for a standard charger by soldering parallel black and red leads to the extension lead wires and fitting them with banana plugs.JST-XH male socket to 2S balancer charger socket and banana plugs to charger output plug battery JST-XH socket into female extension lead socket and you are ready to balance charge(remember to reduce charge current to about.2A)

Addendum to above review: obviously JST-XH etension leads should be for 2S and when connecting male JST-XH plug to battery, solder and insulate, with shrink tube, each wire as you cut the E-flite socket free only use about 3-5cm of wire on the plug. This is only a stop gap solution awaiting the provision,by Hobbyking,of an E-flite female socket with short leads, when the battery plug need not be replaced but just the Slick socket and the charger lead made up.
