I bought 3 of these and all was great but I noticed one was sweeping way to easy. I tore it apart and one of the metal gears was slipping where they are pressed together so I super glued them and presto...badazz servos at 6 v. Haven't tried 7. Tough as nails too I wrecked hard and still smooth as day one

ACTUALY. i crashed my 450 and every tab was broken on every servo. it was a mild crash and everththing was toast. IF YOU DONT CRASH THESE SERVOS ARE FOR YOU, and you probably dont fly hard enough. ****

Will this servo work with 2s (up 8.4V max?)
 Napstr 709 points
I'm guessing that is what it is designed for as the voltages shown are generally nominal - Futaba does the same with their FAAST receivers - they are all designed for 2s LiPo use but the ratings show 3.6-7.4 volt.
 AlvaroSpain1971 224 points
are you sure?, Futaba doesn't suport 7,2v with the R617FS. www.link

Yeah most of there stuff is stuck in the dark ages of 4 and 5 cell nicad packs but on the few (8ch Faast with S Bus & 6 Channel park flyer end pins) it is mentioned as 7.4 volt max - for some weird reason they tend to use nominal voltages as the volt ratings rather than actual high/low limits.

some body try it on lipo 2S ?????
 ERIC123 1 points
it's perhaps better to make it work with a LIFE 2S ??????
 ERIC123 1 points
LIFE 2S is around 6v(low)/7v(high)

I have tested it works great with 2S Lipo.

HV-Servo Test.

I bought these to replace a set of standard 939 digies in my full house 2M. I wanted to save the weight switching to lipos. These servos work perfectly for my application, they're fast, strong and center well... so far so good!
