I see this battery (Flight Max 2500 6.6v) has two connectors, and I assume the smallest one fits the Turnigy 9x female, so the larger white connector must be for charging, right? Or is that a balance plug? Can I use that to charge the battery with a JST connector? Thanx for help.

This battery fits nicely in the Futaba 8FG, and probably the 12FG, too. If you are going to use it in the 8FG, be sure your software is version 4.0 or better. Set the low-voltage alarm in the "Sound" menu for the appropriate LiFe setting.

I have an 8fg I wanted to get this for,..I've updated to the latest 5.0 and wanted to know what would the appropriate low voltage setting be for a life battery,..thank you for any help you can spare.

I have mine set at 6.4 volts, but I have never let it get that low. I usually charge it when it gets to 6.5, but maybe I'm being more cautious than necessary.

I just received this battery , I was pleasantly surprised to see it with a JR type connector already installed. No adapter or changing connector necessary.
