When are you going to stock this in the Netherlands Warehouse, like the PNP version?
APC Style Propeller 7x5 (2 pc) (SKU: 074000054) TGS Sport 7x4.5E Precision propeller (SKU: TGS7x4.5E) or TGS Sport 7x3E Precision propeller (SKU: TGS7x3E) so these are the closest I can find. Please look Hardware & accessories. > Propellers >
Measure a quarter of the wing cord at the root from the leading edge then place a mark, then repeat this time measuring a
Third and mark. Take your ruler and measure halfway between this 2 points and you'll be, if not spot on very very close.
As for Glow powering this, speaking as someone who regularly flys Cox RC, an 09 will be too big for this plane. I have a Multiplex Hummel (55in span 730gram 3 channel trainer) that flew OK with a Killer Bee 049 and now tears around the sky with a TD09 in it. If you search 'cox tee dee 09rc Old Timer' on You tube you'll see it and a lot more small engine stuff besides. If I were taking ownership of this plane I' d fit a NV (Norvel) 061 very powerful, very easy to live with, cheap as chips and crazily good on fuel. Good Luck
generally the CG point is located around the main rib that reinforce the wing. it's not a rule that works everytime but it can be a good approximation to see if your model is well balanced.
Anurag yes it can. Just put a but more strength in the motor mount. Also a bit of fuel proofing. I think a 09ci (1.5cc) at least. It would tear up the sky with a 15ci (2.5cc) Good Flying!
perfect flier with Cox 0.049 Nitro Engine. Docile flier with CG at 20%. should be aggressive with CG at 15-18%. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLSCl6XgL3g
There is lots of questions about this item so I will post what I have done to help with your questions.
First of all I bought this airplane and shipped it to canada it cost around $30 canadian. I then also did some research to figure the best motor/ESC to suit this plane.
Motor:D2826-6 2200kv Outrunner Motor
Motor link: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem .asp?idProduct=12919
ESC: HobbyKing 40A BlueSeries Brushless Speed Controller
ESC Link: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem .asp?idProduct=11430
I also installed this landing gear (Carbon Fiber Landing Gear 100mm)with homemade skis for landing on the snow.
This combination of ESC/Motor with a 3s 1600lipo and a 7x4 prop gives amazing pull and flys fantastic.
Any Questions? Please Post them I will try to answer them.

Lithail this is all great INFO but after a few months it will scroll down and out of view. It is such a shame. So why not post some of your great INFO on the Home Forum (Blue Tab at Top of Page). We need to use it more and be able send request to collected info there too. Also lastly why did you not post a review. It seem many do not do that!
This kit is great with a AP .09 nitro engine only requres a bit of extra strenth in the front end and alls good the AP .15 is to large even when flying on idle ??? try a 7x6 or 8x4 and you will enjoy this kit its a great trainer very stable and glides with no power very well highly recommended and quite tough for a trainer and not too over sized making it easy for transport good stuff hobbyking .
yeah goes without saying if your using fuel , glow ,diesel ,petrol ect fuel proof the timber i dont use electrics not as much fun and this is standard practice much like using glue to join timber
Yes I do know, you know, what you are doing. BUT, you have many readers, (who never reply), who find your help great. They may know to use glue, but since you are changing this from Electric to Fuel, some reader may not be aware of FUEL PROOFING. So it is nice, we could have this chat about it, THANKS Enya08
I already bought it and I was pleased, but mounted the wing without dihedral and made 2cm ailerons, very good for training.
Hi! Yes... this model ask a small motor. Emax 2805 or turnigy 2804 can fit perfectly. If my answer is good to you, clic like "best answer". Thanks and good lock.
Carlos. Boa sorte

For the hinges and HK thin CA to set them in with
and I use the HK nylon clevises, they are adequate for a plane of this size.
If your talking start to finish and you have the proper tools to cover and build along with your materials you looking around $125.00. That to include a motor, covering, miscellaneous(push rods, servos, clevis's, hings, landing gear, ect.) and some time and patients!
It is hours since I am telling you that I wish to buy a kit with product ID 099000020 costing $16.8 at your store. So far my efforts have failed to move you.WONDER IF YOU GUYS ARE SERIOUSLY SELLING OR .......
Yes 3ch is correct because the model does not have ailerons, then you will need only 3ch engine, rudder and elevator. But from what already received response airelons not add very difficult thing and oh yes you will need 4ch.
Thanks Waterlogged, looking at the size and weight of the model I stand by my first reply,I have flown bigger and heavier models with smaller engines,I am sure it would be a flying brick with a .21 engine.

I've just bought one and will be using an 049 cox surestart with throttle conversion (see cox international). I will also be converting it to 4 channel. I'll post pics...

I just finished building this airplane. I have never built an airplane before and i was truly impressed how easy this plane went together. I've uploaded a photo in the file-section, called Bare Frame.
All parts fitted well together. The hardest part (and that was easy to do) is shaping the leading edge.
The manual that comes with it is not written that well, but the pictures show more than enough to understand.
You will have some parts left at the end. I'll use them to strenghen the frame here and there.
What could be improved is adding airlerons. A modification not too difficult and it will improve handling a lot i think. After the maiden i'll let you know if it flies well.

It´s a great model for the price, the manual is almost useless, but with so few parts it´s easy to put together. Came with no box, just a bag but no parts dameged. I will not assemble it so soon, but it looks to have a good fit.

Es un avion facil de construir y muy ligero. No he podido volarlo porque se me ha roto una semiala y tengo que esperar a que traigan mas aviones para comprar otro. Por este precio merece la pena.

I assembled this plane with some modifications. I made without dihedral, then took 2 pieces of balsa and made the ailerons. For flying I use four of 8g servos TGY-1800A, the engine is a FC28-22, the ESC is a Turnigy Basic 25, and the battery is 1300mAh 3S. The plane became an excellent coach, rises vertically and makes flight dorsal easily. My friends will buy it and make the same modifications. It is worth buying it.

I really wanted this kit that was on back order. Then I got an email that it was back in stock at a good price. WOW! What a shock it was to be advised that it would total $$$ twice the retail after all the taxes and S&H and what ever because it is a huge box? REALLY!? Twice the asking price!? If they could lower their last minutes add $$$ ons, I would have bought one.
