Very disappointed with hobbyking at the moment, no more than 2 days after i request that this specific part to be removed from my order, which i had been waiting for for about 2 months, given specifically being told that "there is currently no ETA from the supplier". It is very sad to see SUPPLIERS dictating all the procedures (none) and retailers, and in turn customers, suffering from it in situations such as this.
These parts are not available (given the last info i received stating so): there was no current eta for these spur gears from the supplier (23/03/2013). Try and get the metal spur gears from ebay, for the redcat earthquake 8e, they will fit.
Thanks pal I'll do that but HK need to sort this with their supplier, I bought the car off HK as did a lot of other people, if HK had stated "buy our cars but find your own parts because you'll be waiting months for our supplier, well I'm afraid I and a lot of others would not have made the purchase.

Glad i could help, i too purchased one of these RCs, had fun for quite a while since i have a lot of XP dealing with issues so i took steps to prevent them, but even doing so there will always be downtime. I would suggest getting a few extra spurs to keep that downtime to a minimum.
