all i can say is that the apc originals have much better finish on the edges, these are good fit as well.

Can anyone tell me what diameter the hole is or recommend a prop adapter that will fit 4mm motor shaft please?

any of the prop adapters that fit 4mm in the prop adapter section will work. the hole is 6mm and if you choose a spinner with a 4mm adapter just read the reviews and mkake sure its a normal adapter. 1 review will tell you if its not.

I have the real APC 9x6E, and after comparing it to this one, I have to say this is the very same thing! Excelent balance, performance and thrust. I tested it on a Turnigy LD3727A-1300, with 3S 2200mAh, 60A ESC and it drown about 32A and 330W, with good thrust. I have not checked the thrust yet; but I will try a 9x7.5 or 10x7 in order to get more power. Overall, although perhaps not the best prop for that motor, still a GREAT prop.
