The prop saver studs seem pretty short and have no screw heads from the band to hold onto. I'm having a very difficult time mounting a prop to this motor. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

I mount them with a flat head screwdriver. It's not that easy, but it works.

Yea these prop savers hard hard to install... they barely fit onto the shaft and come lose easily...

can you use this to the teksumo? what prop then?..

what about quadrotor with these motors yes or no
 phalogore 8 points
You can only use prop saver with these motors, so you better buy something else that you can secure the prop to the shaft with a screw.

The screws were not included in the motor. Does anyone know the size screw this is? Thanks

This is a BRUSHLESS MOTOR 101 Question. The shaft appears to come out the back side on this motor. On others the shaft is on the right side. Yet the motor mounts are identical. The fact that they are identical tells me this motor was not dreamed up out of the blue, but that there are certain standards. By any chance can the shaft be turned around after manufacture. There is a set screw holding the shaft in and and slip ring on the other end. Walt

This type of fitment on this class of motor is the most common......it is not designed to be reversed.

Thank you Scott, The question was actually for another motor, which you answered. "Fitment" New to me and I'm a 65 year old engineer. I looked it up. Wow. What a useful word. Thanks. That is worth a double extra points.

does this fit 5030 propellers?
 James 299 points
these motors are stupid, the shaft is too small and the prop savers slip off easy... i dont recommend these motors for any type of build...
