Ordered two extra of these with HK-310 Tx & Rx. This is looks the same as Rx that comes with HK-310 Tx but binding is not the same as the one include with the Tx & Rx. Binding defer. To bind this Rx you power Tx then Rx press bind button until flashing red release button and repress bind button it binds green. This worked for me. Hope this helps someone.
Still waiting for answer HK support
out of stock already... i go to japan and come back with all these new RC cars and your out of stock on the rx's .... when will you get more in stock ?
Hi Sirpreet, after checking many coments, nobody told about that tx system, but sure won't work with futaba and airtonics. Your system is FHSS the same as this one, so could work, unfortunately there are different FHSS protocols (or whatever) like FHSS-1, FHSS-2... so maybe where says FHSS could be missing the number info. The only thing you can do is try (buy) one, and I've see you asked in the other rx discussion (not the micro one) that is some bucks cheeper. The price of this ones is about 3 times cheeper, so maybe would be worth that try. Sorry for not a definitive answer, but hope helps.
Are you looking at using this on a Nitro car or Electric car/boat with ESC and built in BEC?
I use it on a Rally Extreme, running a 2S 7.4v Lipo, but that is through the BEC (battery elimination circuit)
These are the receiver specs, it is not compatible with a 2S Lipo Reciever pack. Maximum voltage is 5.5 Volts
Receiver*
Channels: 3
RF Type: 2.4GHz FHSS
Operating Voltage: 4.5~5.5V <30mA
Dimensions: 33 x 19 x 12mm
Weight: 9g
This from the Hobby King page for the Transmitter/Receiver Combo
Receiver*
Channels: 3
RF Type: 2.4GHz FHSS
Operating Voltage: 4.5~5.5V <30mA
Dimensions: 33 x 19 x 12mm
Weight: 9g
I recieved this and it does not work with my Futaba 2.4Ghz 4pl FHSS. Does not seemed to be compatible with Futaba. It does not work with a GTX3 Turnagy either as there is not binding port.
Sorry, I see now that you need the RX with part# HK-GT2_RX which is compatible with your TX. You cannot bind with HK-3100 because the radio protocols are different. Sell this RX while it's out of stock!
No problem 20$ shipping for both just tell me where I have to ship and I will tell you for shipping cost and you will pay me on paypal account is that ok?
nice micro resiver.. fits perfectly on my 1/16 buggy.

Please help, I have been having problems consistently with my HK310 Rx setup. I have tried all I could , and have gone through three Rcvrs (HK3000R) Its like this: When I bind one to my 310 it binds ok. But when I run the car on a decent speed or even give a forward race and flick for brake and reverse, the Rx just quits ..!! Its extremely frustrating. when I try to plug servo in / out it sometimes goes green again, but then as soon as I apply steering it quits again. intermittently it keeps losing signal/ resets. Please NOTE that this is not just one piece I am talking abt. all of the 3 showed this behaviour sooner or later. one of them worked for almost 30 packs !! LOL . Guys please help me out here I have trashed 2 RXs by just puting servo plugs in and out that the soldering probably gave in. But I am reasonably good with electronics and have tried to segregate the problem so please no suggestions for checking the battery voltage or ESC BEC output. been there done that. Any insight will be very helpful. Could it be that the turnigy brushless DB 's stock esc might be the culprit. I have been using the BEC from esc. Also worthmentioning is that many a times after losing sync with the TX , the RX Bind simply goes away permanently, I then have to Re bind the RX once again, (and start having the same old problem again. ) I am S&F tired to the extent that I just might put the w

Binding worked flawlessly with my Robitronic TL-3C.
: small, light weight, cheap.
-: the circuit board seems to be a bit loose, but that's only noticeable when connecting the plugs.
~: the antenna exit could be improved with a small shrink tube (like on Graupners RX XG-6i 2.0) to prevent crippling. Not so much of big deal, as one can easily fix that by yourself.
