The Dynamic-S has amazing performance, capable of a stunning climb rate and blisteringly fast passes, this fantastic looking, aerobatic model is a must have for the RC pilot!
Made from super tough EPO foam, not only will the Dynamic-S take some punishment, it will continue to look great no matter what you throw at it! The fuselage, wings, V-tail & all control surfaces have been re-enforced with carbon rod, the end result being a super stiff structure for excellent flight performance. The Dynamic-S is plug and fly, so all servo's are pre-installed, as is the ESC and powerful 300 watt outrunner motor. To make assembly even easier, no glue is required during the build, the wings and V-Tail are secured by substantial plates and screws which add to the rigidity and performance, the 2 pc removable wing also makes transportation easy. The wing tube is a square CF type that just won't flex, another example of the quality of this model, the kind of quality people are coming to expect from the Durafly range.
In terms of performance, this stylish model will keep you grinning all day, fully aerobatic and very fast, the Dynamic-S is the perfect grab and fly model for any field and any occasion. The ultra powerful motor and large prop combo mean that the Dynamic-S is just as happy flown slowly as it is making fast 'n' low passes, or performing aerobatics, the wide flight envelope means this model can provide fun, thrills and bang for Buck that few others can hope to match, every now and again, a model comes along that you NEED, the Dynamic-S is that model!
Features: Triple Carbon Spar Main wing Twin Carbon Spar Fuse Carbon Spar elevator and V-Tail (4 carbon rods) Big power 35mm Outrunner for fast climbs Plastic mouldings for strong joins and crash resistance High Quality Servo system Super Ridgid EPO frame for high performance gliding V-Tail efficient tail Quality folding spinner Unmatched performance for an EPO glider of this class.
I just bought this Dynamic-S. When I received it in the mail, it looks like the prop was already assembled on the plane, however it was broken during shipment. If I purchase the "Replacement Prop & Spinner", does it come with the shaft that goes over your motor shaft? That's the piece that was broken in shipment. I really don't need another prop itself, just the aluminum shaft that goes over the motor shaft.
If your taking about a spinner I would check the spinner section under hardware and accessories. Almost every hobbyking product shows photos of exactly what you get unless specified and things like motors when they leave the bare wires out the pic that dont come with plugs
If I were you, I would upgrade. I went ahead and bought an Aeronaut 38mm Spinner (for 4mm shafts, 42 mm Aluminum Center piece and some 12x6 CamCarbon folding propellers. You are looking for centre piece, a centre piece that fits a 4mm shaft.
If you can't find a compatible centre piece on Hobbyking, it's best to get a whole new spinner, centre piece and props. Don't mix manufacturers. In fact, I would recommend that everyone who buys the Dynamic S go ahead and order replacement parts.
Thanks Tattertotdw for your post. From what I can see the NTM 35mm range has 3 motor mount spacing holes. It's different than the 4 evenly spaced 25mm holes on the stock motor. I took the stock one out and the motor itself is 41mm long, 55mm to the end of the shaft, and the shaft is 4mm. It's a very tight fit.
Have you guys calculated CG putting the pads on the circular markings on the underside of the wing **- or have you done in conventionally, as close as you can get to the fuselage? I am not sure whether those markings along with spar indicate where the CG device should be placed.
My Dynamic-S suddenly started to lose power. I noticed my prop will fold "forward" about 45 degrees
Does your prop fold forward or does it lock in at 90 degrees?
I would say your problem isnt the prop. Does the prop only do the 45 on down throttle? Theres technically no way the prop should be doing that on throttle. The centrifugal force should keep the prop at a near 90 degrees. I would say its your electronics unless you can verify your prop is doing that at WOT. Cheers mate good luck with your one of kind folding prop!
The motor shaft is a 4mm and the spinner is a 39mm thats what it measured out to. I just ordered a 38mm for mine. The 39mm is an odd size to find and 40 seems a hair too big.
What do ya'll think about swapping the 12x6.5 for a 11x8 prop. Might pull a few more amps, but should give more speed... no? BTW: Flying balls to the wall 100% of the time my ESC does not get hot ** however its' the cool time of year so that might help some.
Yeah it did work. Got it yesterday. Very easy built, however you have to put the decals on .. so that was kind of messy :-D
Btw, they forgot to include the assembly of the two hinges on the V-Tail in the manual.. but it's easy to figure out.
The reason that they cannot keep orangeRX in the USA warehouse is because $pektrum patented the signal that it sends to your TX but the patent does not apply to warehouses in other countries.
Orange R610/R615 RX are always available from an Ebay seller in the USA, and just cost a couple bucks more then from HK USA. They get to your door 15 days quicker then if you buy them from HK HongKong. USA warehouse is "Always" Sold Out !!!
how many austrailians would get mad if u selected austrailia as ur location and then have the english flag as the banner?....selecting canada as ur location brings up the american flag.....to add insult to injury, the shipping costs to cross the border for a plane makes actually purchasing a plane from the us warehouse UNREALISTIC....
wow...why do u guys even bother having planes available to canada from the usa?? the ONLY shipping method costs $97 and this is just an average park flyer. seriously....HAVE U GUYS EVEN SOLD A SINGLE PLANE FROM THE USA WAREHOUSE TO CANADA? selling a plane at half price compared to ur competitors then to offer shipping that costs approx 100% of the plane price makes buying a PLANE from the LHS a no brainer. when ur primary business model is to provide cheap goods, u r seriously at a DISADVANTAGE if i can get the same thing (or a reasonable substitute) at the LHS for a similar price with all the advantages that a lhs can provide.
anything can be pushed beyond its limits but be prepared for wing and or tail flutter. do a complete fiber tape laminate mod on wings and control surfaces and you may have a safer chance at it.
i have a st blaze same plane for that kind of speed you need to beef up servos i have trouble with stock in high speed dives. just takes a long time to pull out!!!!! with all the carbon in wing it is storng!!! harold h.
There is something SERIOUSLY wrong with the way shipping is being calculated on this plane. I have been saving for months, finally entered my order only to find at checkout I was being charged $42 to ship fm USA Whs to Mid-Atlantic coast (eastern NC). For something so lightweight, I think that is outrageous! I cancelled my order and am VERY disappointed.
Before anyone claims "Large Box", I bought the Phoenix 2000 four months ago, a larger 2-meter class plane weighing over 16-oz heavier, and shipping from same warehouse was only $17!! VERY disappointed.
Especially considering Tower is shipping the ST-Blaze for FREE! (Guess what I just bought)
Hey - starhopper - I did the same thing. HK wants to play the game of Listing an artificially cheap price - then getting the profit back through an inflated shipping price. I'll just start buying from someone else who doesn't play those games.
Nuff Said !!!

Amazing plane! Heard about the esc overheating so I upgraded to a 45A esc and used a 2200mah 40c lipo. Flew it today for the first time in some pretty gusty winds and it handled great! The tips of the wings are a little fragile and were bent when i received them. It didnt effect the plane however. When I say tips of the wings I mean the very tip maybe about 1cm of the tip so i just cut off the bent parts. Verticle flight is amazing with this plane even with the heavier battery and esc! Im a beginner at RC and this is only my second plane and it was pretty easy to fly! I owned the SkyHawk before this and only flew that about 4 times total. I recommend this plane to any beginner at flying!

Just flew the Dynamic-S today with a GoPro attached! Also used a 2200mah 40c Lipo and 45A esc! Still flew amazing with all the added weight! The GoPro was in its mount too which added even more weight! Was still able to glide amazingly! Great plane! Only slightly negative thing about it are the flimsy tips mentioned in my previous review and the slight difficulty landing. Its glides so long and fast that landing could be a little difficult in some cases but overall best glider I've owned! I will be uploading the footage soon.

Getting ready to go Maiden it tonight, so I'll update afterwards, but wanted to comment on the shipping/box contents/build.
First, shipping was quick since it was from a US warehouse. Took about 4 days via UPS ground from WA to CA. Box arrived safely. As others have mentioned, the wing tips were bent, one was starting to fall off, so I CA'd it and then used white duct tape to cover the tips (figure it will help with strengthening them as well in case I hit one on a landing). The plane is very solid, tons of carbon fiber throughout and the wood inside is a nice touch. The wiring for the upgraded ESC that I purchased (45A Trust) and Turnigy 8ch Rx looks like it may be difficult due to size constraints, but I'm sure I can manage to make it work.
The directions worked for the most part, but I will say that some of the parts didn't match up exactly, such as the V-Tail cover with the 4 extra screws, not showing how the decals are to be installed, and also stating to install the decals prior to assembly. I also noticed that the control horns were secured using a little bit of white glue, so I went ahead and added CA to those as well to ensure they were secure. Other than those minor complaints, the rest of the plane was a breeze to put together and is very rigid.
While I wish the replacement parts were available, they're all out of stock right now. I'm waiting to hear when

I bought this plane for some students in my aviation club. Construction takes longer than 15 minutes, but not too much longer. One of the V-tail servos was binding on the plastic and we had to scrape away some room for it to move freely. All electronics worked as expected and nothing needed replacement. A 3 cell 1800-2200 pack will last you a long flight (15 minutes). Vertical climbs are easily obtained until the plane is tough to see. The high school kids can fly it quite well which says a lot about the design, quality, and durability. It's a bit faster than a beginner plane so don't think it'll float to the ground. Ours is set up without flaps right now. We will eventually add flaps to slow down landings and decrease runway requirements. The prop is great and folds quickly using the break. Nice work!
