In 450 cyclic, recommended for 3D fly?
 WiseDuck 215 points
I use these on my Tarot 450. They seem to work just fine.

I bought two of these servos, both are working OK, but they make a noise even if they are in home position with no load - and it's worse in extreme positions. I suspect they would drain too much current (I can't measure this). Anyone had this problem? Thanks.
 Peter 5 points
Digital servo's will 'buzz' even in the neutral position. This is the servo constantly checking the position. The end point noise is probably the servo trying to reach a point outside the travel range.

will these work good on my align 450 sport v2? Thanks
 aero330 46 points
I think so, I installed them on my HK450V2 and they work perfectly even after a crash! Perfect for the swash!

Is there digital servo programmer that works with these, the GWS one does not. I would like to center the servos without using this function from my TX. Thanks Hank

This should be OK for HK-450GT Pro Helicopter? The other servo I am looking for never goes in stock (HK939MG).
 Yeswecan 147 points
Yes,these are fine for a 450. Also would be a better choice than the 939. Digital servos are better position holding and more precise.Good for cyclic, get a quicker one for tail <0.10 sec. I use a tgy 306g, well worth the extra $. Hk922 is also a decent performer.

Thanks...For tail I choose HK-732MG (hope a better choice...).
 Yeswecan 147 points
Haven't tried it,specs are all good and fits straight in. Also choose an esc with 4 amp or higher bec to power the digi servos, and have a little head room. Have fun.

is this 1520us? or 760us
 Yeswecan 147 points
1520us. 760us are narrow pulse (high end servos at 10x the $ )

When thay are back? still waitnig..
 Taejin 이태진 3 points
Thay arrived the day after I left a message.. time to buy. I recommend those for 450 cyclic. fast, strong and very precise movement.

is it good for a mini tricopter ?

Does anyone know what extra long servo arms will fit the splines on these?
__guga  9 points - 10/12/2012

Having problems using 4 of them andd a hxt 9g, the are jitting with a futaba fasst orange. I've tryed the slow red light blinding, tried the disable fail safe option, done that wit the 9g servo and without it and nothing changes. Any sugestions?
 Gary 2974 points
These are digital serov's so pull a bit more current,if you use just one servo does it still jitter?,if not then it might be an issue with your power supply to the receiver.
 __guga 9 points
I tryed conecting only one servo but the buzz stills. I made a vido of it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65Mawn2bgc4
 __guga 9 points
I also changed to 6 volts and still the same.
 Gary 2974 points
Had a look at the video and can see the problem, not certain what you can do at the moment, has anyone else tried these servo's yet?
 davoAU 36 points
I just received 4 and they are all jittering like crazy. Doesn't seem to be interference. Even happens with one hooked onto a servo tester. I think the dead band is just too small. Is there any solution? If not these are unusable...
marco330  8 points - 9/10/2012

When are these going to be back in stock HK?
 marco330 8 points
Thank you ! 1 day after my post ... *-)
russell  1 points - 8/29/2012

Can you use these on a 500?
 aero330 46 points
No, I don't think, because it's too small. The dimensions of servo are 24x12mm while the holes on the helicopter are 35.5x16mm

Anyone tried these? Looking for something crashworthy and a good fit for my HK450 SE V2. Suitable for cyclic? Tail? All metal gears? Thanks.
 glydr 94 points
Probably a bit slow for a tail servo (aim for 0.08 or so MAX *4.8V).
 auerchr 11 points
They would be nice in an Skywing Sbach. Nobody bought them?
 Frogforce#1 6 points
Just bought a heap there on the way, I'll let ya know my findings. I like hitec and these are going in the wings of the 70mm edf viper jet if they cope with a good test.
 auerchr 11 points
I also orderd one for testing. When it's good, there will follow some more. I'll keep you informed too.
 Olof 7 points
Just ordered 3 for the cyclic on a KDS 450 w flybar. I'm not doing any fancy flying just needed to replace the old rather beat up plastic servos. Will come back with review.
 Frogforce#1 6 points
Put a pair on my ultra funjet after a 30min bench test, very impressed with performance, sound and centering super strong too, going to kit my viper jet with these little beasties, happy landings.
 Ali 7 points
Bought 8 of these servos for a Skywing 48" Yak54 and a MXS. Will do a review after I get to test these.
 spilVentinjsh 16 points
Anyone got these in hands? I want something better for 450 heli cyclic as coronas 929mg after 20 flights got about 3mm slop.

I'm very happy with these servos so far. I put them on the swash of a KDS450 (with flybar). I do not have any proper equipment to measure actual speed or strength, but they feel both quick and strong as well as reasonable quiet and jitter free. So from a lamers point of view they feel absolutely great.

Got 5 pcs of it, initial testing is very good performance. Crisp response, center well, smooth, good resolution. Top performance for digital metal gear servo @ $8 range. 1 star off, as motor operating at higher temperature at high speed/torque. Need to see how long these servos could survive for 3D performance.

Forgot to mention, quality of servo horn is the best I had seen for a $8 servo. Also resolution could be best in $8 class servo I had tried. Unfortunately it is out of stock from HK. Definitely will get more when in stock.

Top marks out of the box, perform as expected. Used on a EPP-FPV with top end performance. Only time will answer the longevity question.
