Anyone try a 3s lipo yet?
 Jens 3 points
Tried 3s, but the ESC does'nt even respond. No throttle, nothing. So I guess it has some kind of protection if it's getting too much voltage? It's still working fine on 2s though...

This just arrived, installed in a 1/18 scale hpi mini recon, and its got no throttle when turned on. Steering works but the red light blinks fast when the throttle is applied. What gives? I checked the 2s lipo and its at 7.8 volts so that eliminates if it was a low voltage problem. Maybe it doesnt like small brushed motors so I will try my 55t crawler motor on it....

Haha fok my life, ok so turns out it runs my 14t, 19t, and 55t 540 size motors and my little Losi Mini T's small brushed motor. I guess my littke hpi motor is toast. Oh well but atleast I found and downloaded the manual and know how to program this thing now.

Will this work in a CC01 with 45t motor ?
 meeki 780 points
Yes, a 45t motor wont be a problem for this ESC.

Hello will this work with a ten turn motor. Thanks
 Mar11 2528 points
yes it will work as long as you use it with not more than 2s battery !

Can I use this esc with a 1s 5000mah lipo? Our local track only allows brushed motors and 1s 5000mah max packs....

No. A 1S Battery peaks at 4.2V fully charged so the voltage is below the minimum requirements for this ESC. (It's designed to provide at least 5V to the Receiver)

Ok i took the plunge and bought six of these esc's to replace some others i had, all setup in various tamiya cars and buggies, i use lipo batteries so having the built in cut-off was a big selling point to me and at such a great price i would recommend them to anyone, easy to program. Ive been buying more and more from hobbyking, always great products and excellent prices. Keep them coming guys.

Install it in my old Tamiya Wild dagger truck with 2 x 540 brushed motors, and i works like a charmed, just out of the "box". The old school speed control went up in smoke. :-)

Best regards

Seems ok. Brake doesn't seem to work. Will just violently go straight into reverse instead of brake first.
