Will this work with the traxxas titan 550 12t? I am setting up a dual motor dual esc robot and I don't want to buy two XL-5 escs...

Meeki That is exactly the same thread that I saw and make me worried! If it is so, how can I replace the BEC mos inside the ESC? Is it available a piece of schematic?
 meeki 855 points
I think it may be easier to just get a external BEC. I doubt that you will find a schematic, it's usually something that electronics manufactures don't want published. Besides, even if you could fix it you will still need to get an external BEC to power your servo.

I bought this servo: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__40285__Tu
rnigy_MG959_V2_Alloy_Digital_Metal_Gear_Servo_30kg_7
8g_0_15sec.html Today
after a couple of our of use the ESC stopped to work. I tried different option and at the end it seems that the BEC is no more working. Is it possible? Thanks

If you check out the discussions for that servo, there is a comment that RyanD has left stating that someone measured that servo drawing as much as 4.7A. So if that information is correct then Yes that servo has possibly damaged the BEC circuitry of your ESC.

Hi! Bought this ESC for my Pangolin crawler... - can not get neutral pint to self calibrate - always wants to run forward or revers under neutral Any good tutorial on setup of this ESC? Manual is cinfusing and not exactley for this ESC ... Thanks!

Esc does NOT work with every radio and receiver. Switched from the original radio from my scaler to a Absima C4T 3.4 Ghz. Servos still work fine cause of the UBEC, throttle is completely out of sync, stops and continues throttle at 30, 50, and 70%. Really annoying. ESC used to run fine with the old **** radio. I think the problem are the neutral points, but the ESC has no setting for changing these, and the ''auto neutral point memory'' does not work.

Ok i took the plunge and bought six of these esc's to replace some others i had, all setup in various tamiya cars and buggies, i use lipo batteries so having the built in cut-off was a big selling point to me and at such a great price i would recommend them to anyone, easy to program. Ive been buying more and more from hobbyking, always great products and excellent prices. Keep them coming guys.

Install it in my old Tamiya Wild dagger truck with 2 x 540 brushed motors, and i works like a charmed, just out of the "box". The old school speed control went up in smoke. :-)

Best regards

Per

Seems ok. Brake doesn't seem to work. Will just violently go straight into reverse instead of brake first.
