Is this suitable for 12 AWG lipo battery? tnx in advance

This one will fit Turnigy Pure-Silicone Wire 12 AWG but 5mm tube is better (closer fit). Turnigy 12 AWG can be also covered by 4mm heat-shrink tube - specially when XT60 is used. I suggest you to buy 6mm, 5mm and 4mm just to inventories.

Ich bin begeistert von dem Schrumpfschlauch, top Qualitä*t, gute Farbbestä*ndigkeit, enorme Hitzeempfindlichkeit, 2:1 Schrumpfvermö*gen (bis auf 2,8mm) und eine sehr guter Isolationswiderstand. Absolut passend fü*r 4mm Goldkontakt-Stecker zu finishen. Dafü*r ist der 5mm einfach zu eng, die Erfahrung musste ich leider machen.
Fü*r den genialen Preis gibt es keinen besseren Schrumpfschlauch. Einfach perfekt. Danke Hobbyking....

The shrink tube is only available from the International warehouse. The best thing to do is to order lots of it in one go like I did and because it's so cheap and light, shipping will be cheap anyway.

yes. it is 2 to 1 ... so will shrink to 3mm Hope this helps

The shrink ratio is 2 to 1, it will shrink to 3mm, if your wire that it is being applied to is 3mm, i would choose a smaller heat shrink tube to ensure a tight fit.

I want to order some of this heat shrink for 10awg wire with 4mm connectors. Will this be a good size heat shrink? Or should I use another size? Thanks!

I don't know how big 10awg wire is, but this shrinks down to about 3mm, so it will work good on a 4mm connector.

Hi, No i would use a bigger size shrink tube, 10awg is 5.5mm thick just measured mine it would be easyer with bigger, hows that for efficiency.

I have 5.5 bullets. Got the 6 mm heat shrink just have to stretch it a bit. Works for me.

first of all are these right size for 5.5 bullets or go to 8mm and also do these only come with 1 per pack?

Yes, the should shrink and fit the 5.5mm bullets, 1 pack = 1 meter (just over 3 feet) of tubing.

i use 6mm heat shrink for 5.5 bullet connectors slips straight over and shrinks nice and tight

barely! shrink tubes usually shrink to 2/3 or even to 1/3 of its original diameter so 6 mm tube on 6 mm bullet connector is not a good idea *)

use a 8mm dude get it over with, 8mm can shrink to 3mm

The size quoted is the bore size BEFORE shrinking. The 6mm size is actually 6.5mm bore. After heating it reduces to about 3mm bore. Hope this helps.

I bought this with the intention for 16awg wire and found myself using it on 18, 16, and 14awg. The original size to shrink ratio is great and doesn't burn. I can use the cooler end of my soldering iron to shrink the tube with no damage done. Friends ask me to solder for them now with this stuff. Great UH!

Works fine, strong. Weight allowance is too high though it doesn't even come close to using 19 grams packing weight.
