can i use this with the hobby king quad board?
I tried and once the board is armed, when I increase the throttle the escs just lit up every 3 sec and the motors beep simultaneously. I seriously need help.
shravan all ESC get hot. The bigger the hotter. The harder the flight the hotter. But it should not melt the heat shrink. It should never never smoke (Smoking is bad for your health "HA") Max temp should be just a little more that touchable. Let it cool between flights. Also always use good batteries. Old batteries can put more load on you esc. I hope this helps
Henrique no it is only for a plane. But you can make the motor turn the other way by swapping the leads (3 off) around. So you can reverse just not remotely. Well unless you put a 2 pole rotor switch on two of the 3 wires. Then you can use a servo to remotely switch fwd and rev. I hope this helps.

I used this BESC on my UglyStick with a GWS 2205/15T and HXT 2S1P 1300mAh battery that I bought here on UnitedHobbies. I'm very happy 'cause it works very well. A day I, accidentaly, landed in a lake and the BESC still working pretty well after I've dried.

This is a great ESC. I have used it on various motor/prop/battery combinations and it has been a solid performer. I always stay within the rated limits and have had no problems so far after a year of use. The ESC always runs cool with a Himaxx 920Kv outrunner and 10 x 7 prop on 3 cell. This setup pulls around 15 Amps max and the measured temp of the esc is always between 65 F to 80 F.

Two of these were purchased to couple to two new GWS Inrunner 3900Kv's for powering my GWS A10. Absolutely no issues with them and they are very well priced.

This ESC is NOT to recommend if you use 2.4GHz radio system. Paring time receiver/transmitter is just too long for this ESC. It goes into failsafe mode and just wont start(for not heaving good signal from receiver) after about 7 sec, and paring time for 2.4GHz receivers is sometimes up to 10-15sec. Works like a dream on 35MHz systems dogh..

I've been using this speed controller for over a year now (the same one) on my GWS Slow Stick. I had no issues with it whatsoever and I'm very happy with it.
