Guys: I have a set of these that I'm interested in putting on my mini-skywalker (Product ID: ), but I have never used them before, and it looks like some guys are having trouble with installations sticking or collapsing. I need to know which servos are strong enough to gear down and up reliably, but not heavier than necessary. Some photos of installations that work well will help me a lot to understand the arrangment that works best on the planes. Thanks for your suggestions and photos. - VJ

How small of a foamy could I use these on? Would they be ok on an Airfield 800mm Warbird like the P-51? or would I not be able to hide them and the servo in the wing?

Is this compatible for ZAGI wings 1,2m ????? If not, what's the perfect retractable landing gear for ZAGI wings??? Thx

Anyone know the height, width and depth.. I have no idea if these will fit into my plane. The word SMALL does little to describe their size.

I am building a balsa p51 and the plane was designed to fit these exact retracts but would much rather put electric retract does any one know if there is an electric retract version of these that would be the same specs

Is it possible to reverse them? I want them to fold opposite way, so I can use them to retract the floats in my Catalina.

Im looking to do same thing..any replies? I'm told nano's are better but they on backorder...again.Might use the TG 180 servos.

Does anyone have any input on a suitable grub screw to hold the shafts in place or are people just gluing the shaft in the socket?
 luckypilot 65 points
I just stuck it in and it holds very well.. but you can glue it if it falls off.. I wuold use gorila glue..

Will the locks and servo hold, if you retract backwards into the engine-nacelles instead by side into the Wings?
thanks
 Roberto G 63 points
I have a 3 wheel foamy (550 gr). The side retracts under the wing hold OK. The one under the nose (which retracts backwards) collapses very often when landing.

Great for small park planes. These cost a fraction of those with a "brand" name.

Unsurpassable quality and price for small scale (park flyer) warbirds. Strong (nylon?) mechanics lock securely even with small servos.

I do not think this landig gear can be used for airplanes with total weight higher than 600-700gr, if yours is in that range then it is a bargain.
