Can someone please tell me what distance apart the mounting screws are. Also are they 3mm screws?

what does "19 turn" refer to? I am looking for a motor for a plane, would this be suitable?
 kiwi4 199 points
The term turn refers to how many raps of wire are around the com segments.kiwi4

Hobbyking:
Please note the error in KV specs.
It's listed as 970kv, but should be 1970kv.

I agree with u, though i did not measure it. The force was power when fitted to a 3" EDF

3 thumbs up!
Good performance in F18, with EDF Ducted Fan Unit 7 Blade 3.5inch
Pulls 24Amps static on 4 LIPO cells
The only problem was the external diameter wich was slightly more than the specification, so it entered very difficult in the EDF

This 2847 is definitely not suited for our hobby! No cooling holes, gets awfully hot in a no time. Tested with prop APC 7x5 or Kyosho 7x6 etc. and lipo 2050mA 20C got 200-220Watt at 20-22A, which is a must for any small and fast plane. Motor weights 134g, too much relating to performance. You better buy one with cooling holes at www.4-max.co.uk, not as cheap - but it works!!
