Would this servo be a good fit for the elevator of a Su35 twin 70mm EDF Jet? I've already lost a Su35 due to a bad servo on the elevator.
 sharkey9 792 points
If it's not too big for your jet, it's a great servo. Extremely fast though strong. Needs a bit more power than similar type servos. Very precise, too.
 HellyFlyer 1249 points
I would suggest a metal gear servo for elevators
Amandeep  14 points - 4/12/2013

Is this analog or Digital servo?
 HellyFlyer 1249 points
This is a Analog Servo, but very strong good for Tail on a 450 size heli. Go for it.

Will this fit the HK-450TT Pro V2 tail?? I have been searching for a decent tail servo that I can just put in the tail and have work.
 Chris 48 points
I have this servo on the tail of my HK450, it is hooked up threw the HK 401B gyro and seems to be a good combo. Chris.

Hi,I have this servo to my 450 v2 and 25-30amp esc and a reciever AR6210 $pektrum why everytym I make an input on my rudder it always shutdown my reciever...shld I need to change my esc to higher amp?. Pls help...
 sharkey9 792 points
You need an ESC with 3Amps BEC at least. This is a very fast and strong servo, needing more power than others. Or a good external BEC.

 HellyFlyer 1249 points
Yes this needs regular power use a good ESC with higer amp rating

its digital, quit good for CCPM type of swash...max 450 size...for plane, good enough as well , i am using this servo for 3d 46 size plane and works amazing that the standard servo...less weight
 bmheli 34 points
Correction, this is a ANALOG servo. And may use it only in the tail. Pay attention to the total consumption for the choice of the correct Esc.
 Julio 14 points
It is not digital. I used it on my 450 for the tail and it works well. Its a fast servo.
 m-werk 3 points
digital or analog? what now
 bmheli 34 points
This servo is analog. To be digital this had to be marked with PARK HPX D or PARK HPX F D. See the File tab for the spec table in the GWS site and note de observations in the bottom. D= digital There is no D in the label of that servo. For more details see the GWS web site.
 HellyFlyer 1249 points
This is a Analog Servo,. any ESC with min 3 amp BEC will do

Futaba and Hitec plugs are similar. You can use this servo with a Futaba or Hitec on a 450 class heli.

The difference is only the plug type, JR or Futaba, but why is this Futable plug type more expensive than the JR plug type by almost 50%?
 edudominguez1 46 points
Indeed the only difference is the connector. JR is in backordery may not be current prices or simply confused by putting one of the two.
Some time ago I bought a Futaba and JR and a friend work the same.
Buy whichever is cheaper.
other products also face two prices is good looking and always buy the cheapest.

Hope this is helpful.
 Heli-450 18 points
You can file the tab of on the Futaba to use in a JR receiver. Black = Brown White = Orange. When I bought this servo it was cheaper than the one with a JR connector.
Nicopter  5 points - 6/18/2011

For a 450 Trex Tail, Gy 420, this servo burnt after 2 minutes of settings !!! Why this evaluation is always erased ?
 edudominguez1 46 points
They were exposed to verify that the digital servo 420 grams. if so burn any non-digital servo. This is a bug that breaks servos no fault of theirs.

Is it a digital servo or not? How can I understand this?
 Diogen151 82 points
This servo is not digital ! Sometimes you can hear screeming sound from digital servo(s), but, the best way is to look at specs to find answer if it is digital or not. This servo is Ok, and watch her how it is fast and precise: www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_Pll7pnauw
 bronya 218 points
Most of manufacturers add word "digital" on sticker or append char "D" to model #

Thank you all for ypur prompt answers!!!
I bought one for my HK401B gyro on my CX450...
I hope this configuration, HK401B with a GWS Park Servo will work... :)
So, you' r telling me to adjust the HK401B gyro according to analog servo settings?
Thanks!!!
 wifly 50 points
its NOT digital. its a high speed analog servo
 David 62 points
Servos are considered Analog unless they say they're digital.
Digital servos cost a lot more than this, at least double.
This is a fast analog servo, that's all.
 NEIL 46 points
No, It is not a digital servo. It is very fast though and I am using one for a helicopter rudder servo and it works well. It just won't have as much holding power as a digital servo.

-After fast stick move, servo may overrun desired position by few degrees, and return back a bit slower. Good, not oscillating around, just slowly "fine-trim" the arm position.
-Position is centered well, no problem.
-With discharged receiver pack, I have encountered jitter on another servos, while PARK HPX was moving - it indicates serious current consumed by this servo, so use serious receiver pack and solid wires.
-Servo is really very fast, that is true. And strong.
-Moves silently, I can not measure sound level but I say it is only half of a noise of my other servos.

It is a very fast, accurate neutral.
It is the best for the ladder servo of the helicopter of 450 classes.
I am using this servo for most airframes.
Compatibility with 401 of FUTABA is also good.

I bought 10 of these and am very pleased with the speed. They do not show jitter at all. I used them instead of Hitec 225's.
