what is this???

A simple device to easily connect linkage wire to a control horn.

It's a small locking device used on 1mm control rod, you have to make an '' L '' shape at the end of your control rod then feed it thru your control horn then install this device to lock it in place

The gap for servo arm is not wide enough. On 2mm wire it opens the snap a bit and allows the wire to pop out.

instead of making Z, make L shape and put this one at the end to lock de horn.

It is a very useful things to fix the steel control rods. You should simply band the rod like "L" on its ends and apply this "Nylon Snap-Click style clevis"

OK got it! You make the bend in your piano wire to form a 7 the short end of the 7 goes through your horn. Then the small hole at the end of the clevis goes over the wire next to the horn then the tube part of the clivis has a slit in it to snap to the longer end of the wire or the bottom part of the 7. which secures your wire to the horn so it will not slip out. Yes I know all have said "L" but I think this way is easier to visualize....

here is a picture. I need another one to use on the servo horn (I have bended it to hold, but need to be in a "L" shape). Hope it helps. Regards target=_blank>Nylon clevis

9 thumbs up!
Bending z-bends is not my strong point, and it is a hassle to loosen them to change something on the plane. These little gadgets allow you to remove and reinstall the link with little fuss. Cheap and handy!

7 thumbs up!
Makes control connections conveniently and securely on small planes. It will also double for making convenient aileron connections using .032 wire. Thanks for providing this part and at an incredible price!

4 thumbs up!
Good points - fits 1mm (0.039") wire perfectly, great value.
Bad point - the gap between the wire and the nylon arm is 0.8mm (0.032") and so needs careful paring to get a good fit even with the small horns on 4.3g servos. This gap is much less than Du-Bro Micro E/Z links where the gap is nearer 1.5mm.
Nevertheless eventually made neat aileron links on my 1.2m span glider.

They fit 0.8mm wire, but and up a bit loose. Would need some for 0.6mm wire. Have you seen them any where?
