6mm before shrink About 4mm after shrink
 LeszekJ 793 points
6mm before and less than 3mm here. It must depend on the weather or something alike.
 JACK- 17 points
saludos. 6mm sin aplicació*n de calor y así* por debajo de 6mm abraza hasta 2.5 mm maximo. no le puedes aplicar mas calor porque lo rompes.

Is the size 6mm ID before shrunk, or the width when it is flattened?
 LeszekJ 793 points
It is 6mm ID (slightly more, to be exact).
 EricBR 203 points
its the outside diameter before shrunk. shrinks to 3mm more or less.
 LeszekJ 793 points
It is the internal diameter, Sir.

Yes off course it will

Sure! works really good, you only need to know how much you want to shrink! It's 6mm, if you want to shrink it to 3mm, it's a bit difficulty!

Will this fit over the 6mm gold sprung bullet connectors?
 Pvtzemerak 30 points
I doubt it, if anything. It will be a VERY tight fit.
 vegiampa 17 points
no, this is good on the 4mm Corally connectors. For 6mm Corally connectors you need of 8mm/10mm heat shrink tube
 AFerreira 57 points
it fits but it's very tight! i put some pliers inside the tube to expand it a bit and make the connectors slide in easier.
 vasy1 605 points
No, for 6mm you need to purchase 8mm to 10mm tube. i use 10 and it works well.
 FelixRC 40 points
Yes it does. ordered mine for just that
 TEPAKS 18 points
barely! shrink tubes usually shrink to 2/3 or even to 1/3 of its original diameter so 6 mm tube on 6 mm bullet connector is not a good idea *)
 ben006 17 points
no, if you have to protect 6mm things, use 7mm heat shrink tube

9 thumbs up!
Size quoted is the nominal bore BEFORE shrinking. The 6mm size is actually 6.5mm bore which reduces to about 3mm after heating. Hope this helps.

This Heat Shrink Tubing Is as good as any I have used in over 40 years in electronics.
I order more most every order. It's light weight allows you to add to most any order with out putting you in the next postal price step.
