Gas motors require greater mass for inertia purposes, something which the electric motors don't benefit from. Therefore having the "E" version is lighter and optimized for electric purposes, though it isn't as resilient if you impact with it as there is a better chance it will break.
Why there is no adapters with this one ?
I have purchased one and it came without adapters.
Luckily I have some adapters from my other APC style props.
Hello everybody, I'm planning to build a quadcopter and I have a question about these props. Can I use these propellers on a quadcopter? I mean, in a quadcopter two propellers must turn clockwise and the other two must turn counter-clockwise. Can I do that with these propellers?.
propeller has two dimension property one of them is lenght you know the other is pitch which is moving point to the fron, N turns*pitch gives us to the distance.
I can't tell you if it replaces the 3 blade on the spitfire but I can tell you they are great props. they have a small hole so you have to drill then out but they are a copy of APC for less $$$ which we all like. Bob in California
only you need is to see the specification of the motor used for the blade. In other words you need to see what kind of motor you are using in your spitfire to know wich blade to use. The 3 blade configuration is more Scale option or realistic view. There is no problem to change it with an apropiate 2 blade replacement, but in order with the motor manufacturer!
they are nice,and mine came well blanced,they do make a nice sound too!

THis is exact copy of APC version. Only downside is the 3mm hole, which in APC is 6mm by default and the edges are very sharp crispy type. Also the shipping weight is wrong, but they still charge it as 65gr piece.

I tried the 12x 6 on my 3D Hobby Shop Extra 300S with excellent results. The prop seems to be very slightly more flexible than APC, draws 0.3 less amps at full power.
Comes with shaft adaptors.

A good quality propeller. It has a ~ 3 mm hole, so one can drill it to get the necessary diameter.

very nice prop, copy of the Apc really. not too sure about the color of these, its a light brown which looks wierd. didnt take much balancing, about the same as an Apc. defenatly worth the money.

The Good News: Nice prop. I bought two in this order. One needed NO balancing at all. The other needed only normal work to balance. Adaptors fit great.
Using the HXT 35-36C 1100kv Brushless Outrunner and a 3s pack it draws 27 amps static. Pulls my E-flight Taylorcraft vertically out of sight quickly, quietly and with no vibration!
The Bad News: The shipping weight on the this prop is 65g but the shipping weight on the APC style propeller 14x7-E which is 1 inch longer is only 35g! I asked them to correct the shipping charge but nothing has changed yet.
The Bottom Line: Even with the inflated shipping being charged the prop is a good buy...........just annoying:-)
