Hello! What is the Intern Diameter? I need a tube with intern > 8mm
 Gary L 39 points
These 10mm tubes have a wall thickness of about 1mm, so the ID is approximately 8mm. If you need >8mm, you don't want this tube unless you want to ream it out a bit.

how can I connect two of these together?

5 min epoxy?
 Diogen151 82 points
Make angled join at aprox. 30 degrees, use some CA to fix it and wrap around join some kevlar thread. Put some epoxy at join (over kevlar). Also, you can fill hollow with exact diameter (aprox. 8mm) stick to improve stiffness.

On the picture these look like glass fibre.
Do they have the classic "glossy woven carbon fibre" look?

And one reviewer said these tubes where not completely straight. Is that true?
 Stefan 31 points
If you mean the 'squared structure' :No they don't. They are only black like glas fibre. Um, mine are totally straight.. -have checked them against the door-

if i want to put an ather tube insite in this tube what size i need?
 Frank_E 4 points
a tube of 8 should fit

10 is the outer diameter and the thikness is not very thick though very strong. so 10 - ( -2*1thick) = 8

then it's not for you - it has 8mm. (by the way: all the carbon tubes here have a thickness of 1mm)
 oxalys2527 2 points
I just bought it.It isn't for you,but inner diameter is't 8mm.It is almost 9mm.

How do you cut it and how easy is it to cut?
 dak1169 1 points
easy using carbide or diamond cut-off wheel. DO NOT INHALE DUST!!
 Freddrick 2 points
can you use a hack saw?
 dak1169 1 points
Hack saw will not cut through all of the fibers evenly, and will tear unevenly exposing to much fiber. This will weaken the material. CF can take a lot of friction so cut it quick * high RPM.

You can use a saw, electric saw or pen knife. But be careful with the carbon dust. It is extremely harmful to your lungs and eyes. Don't work on these at home.

use uma serra orbitral ou uma makita fica mais facil e sem risco de se machjucar

3 thumbs up!
They are light , axial , but not straight enough .

If You need strength search radial type.
There was not chance of sliding them inside the 11mm tubes.

2 thumbs up!
These carbon tubes are great. The carbon rovings are actually not axial but radiaI. This type is usually more expensive at least at the kite shop I usually buy at. The inner diameter is not a typo - it is really 9mm opposed to the 8mm the standard 10mm tubes usually have. These tubes weigh only 13.8g!
