USA warehouse now open. Our USA warehouse is now open! Low cost shipping and an ever growing variety make ordering from the US warehouse even better value!
Dont be fooled by other brands that offer you 25C but only deliver just 18C. Other companies will even offer 15C 2600mAh packs and sticker them at 2200mAh 25C. We guarantee our packs to be full capacity and cull C rate, and if you're not happy you can send it back for a full refund. Got a warranty issue? We have warranty locations in USA, Europe and Australia. You don't need to ship the product back to Asia!
depends on how much money you want to spend or how fast you want to charge it. the cheaest is this one ID: "Turnigy-3S" to charge faster ID: "TE4" but you will need power supply. and if you want more professional ID: "9418000001" use the ID number " " in site's search to find it.
Can anybody tell me what the lowest voltage I can let this battery go before i need to charge it again please? I just dont want to trash my battery, so any tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
3 weeks is about average for items from Hong Kong to the USA. I wouldn't start to worry or consider it slow until at least the 5th week. It's just the way it is.
Three weeks is how long items usually take from U.S.A to Australia. It took 28 days for a plane I ordered from Hobby King China. Freight carriers appear to ignore fragile stickers as the plane received damage and I won't get to fly it. Foam packaging doesn't protect from rough handling. Going to order from Australian site in the future.
I live in the states and i usually have to wait for about 28-45 days. The only way to get it faster is to pay for faster shipping but imo its not worth the outrageous price unless you just need it bad.
that's nothing I am still waiting after 3 month it is being investigated as a lost parcel it could take another 4 to 5 weeks to see if I get refunded if you can best buy from UK warehouse Hong Kong post is unpredictable
No, they will not. I had two shipped to me and unfortunately they didn't fit. They go in (although it's very tricky) but when you have to power up the LiPo with the Phantom, it's just impossible. Afterwards I bought two Turnigy 2200mAh 3S 25C Lipo Pack's and they DO fit. It's tight but it works!
guys. if you ask me this producer is more relable than other cheap sellers. just compare it with turnigy! turnigy sais that his product is great ok, but if you ask me zippy is greater cuz he saiz: "if you're not happy you can send it back for a full refund."
what's your idea?
Zippy has very fragile balance cables. I have to solder it after every charging!!! They are just to stiff and just break when you connect it to charger. Turnigy has silicon cables and its big difference. Battery quality its almost the same. On both i can fly 450 class heli about 2 seasons (about 100 flights each). After this time they are about 1500 capacity and no give enough power so worm up to much and swell. If you no like solder much*) get turnigy.
I own a physics and flight camp for kids in the summer. I have been using zippy lipo for many years. We beat the **** out of them, 2 weeks of ru charge run 8 hrs / day, 2 or more pilots flying kids on buddy boxes 6 - 8 hours per day. Store for winter, use occassionly fora quick winter flight. Some are 3 plus yrs old and still going.
I agree with you, the shipping is the worst thing about orders from overseas. If you get them from the US warehouse it is better. I have had 3 of these batteries ordered for 3 weeks and still not here.
I was going to order 5 of these batteries and the shipping was as much as the batteries. I will only buy from the USA Warehouse when they come in.Headsup**** delivers in 2-3 days and the shipping is only 2.00. Just something to think about. Sometimes a cheep price is not worth it if you got to pay an arm and a leg for shipping. If you agree please give credit. Thanks
it takes to take stock'm sending two applications awaiting this battery very good and worth the purchase limit are only 5 of them I would like to buy several of them for this to be the best battery market aeromodelling

I have been using these batteries for a year now and I run them down to 11.1 then put them on charge. I have taken them down to 10.1 and put them on a balance charge. I am using a Hitec Multi x4 charger and have never had a problem with any of these batteries. I charge at 2.2 on the 3s 2200 mah batteries. Hope this helps
My battery after 2 charging is bad (it is inflated). On tester shows that is 2S battery instead of 3S.I charge it with "Turnigy balancer & Charger 2S-3S" on adapter 0.8A
What can i do?
You overdischarge the lipo. Determine which cell was flat, and charge that cell separately at 1S for about a 30 seconds to a minute. Then test if can be detected as 3S. Do a balance charge afterwards. I never let my lipo discharge to less than 3.6V per cell. You should invest in a low voltage alarm to protect your lipo from over-discharge.
P stands for Parallel. In a 3S1P setup 3 cells are connected in series and none in parallel. There are batteries with 3s2P configuration. The higher the P number the higher the current.
Would this battery be sufficient for the Bixler 2 with the stock motor and 40 amp esc and 7x5 prop? Would it also be sufficient if I used the D2826 1400KV turnigy motor with same esc and prop as previously stated?
Busjockey, get a THREE blade 6X4 prop for your D2826 1400KV. you WON'T be disappointed. I have these batteries with a Turnigy TRUST 45A ESC on my skysurfer(bixler1). it will barrel roll while flying verticle! :) happy times...
why is it that I am unable to "ask a question" on several items at HK. This one works ok but several others just want me to login but I am already logged in. I have contacted support but all they say is use firefox(stock answer #101) and not really look at the problem.
I use these orange receivers all the time . They are as good as the more expensive ones.,especially with the satelite receiver attached. (fr0m)tickethammer13*yahoo****
but it works on some pages..!! if cookies were disabled it would not work on any..right ? it works ok on this product.. Ok I just tried the "bad" page and it now works.. thanks..
I strongly feel 0.1Ohm is not the rigt measure for sure.
Please guys just grab a multimeter, check the INTERNAL RESISTENCE, Type that here and get your 20c!!!
I ordered 2 of these batts a while ago and when they arrived the were different. One was a zippy brand battery but the other, had flexible balance leads, heavier duty power leads, was 18g heavier, somewhat fatter and had a white plastic longitudinal wrap-around below the heat shrink.
When it "quacked" it said turnigy.
In my experience the only good thing about turnigy batteries in comparison to flightmax batteries of this size/rating is the flexible leads.
Apart from this there is no comparison.
Zippys outlast the turnigys and don't seem to bloat whereas the turnigys bloat that much I feel that I should be using them as torch batteries.
If this were a one off then no problems. But I guess it shows where the batteries get the lable stuck on. However, this has happened to a friend twice. For 3000 and 4000mah batteries.
This kind of incident tends to leave a "funny taste" in the mouth - which is a pity as otherwise I'm a very happy customer.
I agree. Zippys out perform Turnigy batteries, last longer and have more punch for the same C rating. I only buy Turnigy if there is no Zippys for the job.
Yes, you should be able to do so if you already have one, however if you still need to order a battery for your Tx then for roughly the same price I would opt for one of the dedicated 9.9V LiFe Tx packs.
Hi, I had another look at the transmitter. You need a flat pack because the transmitter has a very shallow battery compartment as it usually takes 8 AA cells side by side. Under the "LiPo, LiFe, NiMH Battery" Tab on the left side of the home page you will find the following subsection " Rx/Tx Batteries" click on the sub menu and look for the following battery "Turnigy 1450mAh 3S 11.1v Transmitter Lipoly Pack" That is what I would recommend you get as I have used one in a similar E-Fly transmitter and it fits perfectly. The original battery you referred to will work but it won't fit in the battery compartment.
You can usually make the purchase that hobbyking is an excellent site, very reliable, I never had a problem buying a lot to lose money, where it does not work for my money games to spare ...
Normal state voltage is 11.v and fully chraged 3s1p should be around 12.6v, thats 4.2vs per cell fully charged..remember never below 9.0v on a 3S lipo :)
I used this battery down to 10.1 and still was no problem landing.I just lost track of time while in the air and a friend said how long you been up there? ops. Great Battery
ETA stands for estimated time for arrival. if you do not wanna wait for it you should buy ZIPPY Flightmax 2200mAh 3S1P 25C (X-Thin) for $12.70.
Regards
Ibrahim

Good battery, especially for the price. But it didn't quite hack it compared to my similar sized KongPower pack in my Trex 450. The Kong had a whole lot more cycles through it, but it pulled away a lot harder than the Flightmax. I would recommend getting the 30C or 40C instead if sheer power is needed.

Good battery. Normally operates in modes up to 20C. It does not tolerate load 20-30C even short-term. Used in PA Extra 260 with peak loads 530W. After about 60 cycles of decreased and the maximum current capacity of approximately 20pcnt. Not related to the 25C constants. Not recommend. Three stars only for the price and acceptable weight.

This breed of zippy batteries have the same strength as a pack from the local hobby store except, they're 1/4 the price. I pushed this pack(3 cell, 25c, 2200mah) to 40 amps without breaking a sweat. I believe thats the "safe limlit" I wouldnt recommend anything more than that or your pack could turn into an expensive firecracker. Get em' while their hot!!!

Best Choice 450 Size Heli 2200mah 25c = 55 Amps Constant 2200mah 35c Burst = 77 Amps Burst
If you use a 700 Watt Motor then these can supply the power for hard 3D and if you use a normal 500W motor then this can run it at 100pcnt full throttle till the batteries are drained.
Most 450 Hard 3D pilots have 650W motors and these batteries.
They are the lightest in their range and C rating
They are the ones you need for your HK450

I got 5 of these batteries and I think they are excellent, I really dont see any difference between the more expensive ones. I guess I have like 25 to 30 flights on them and they seem to work perfect. No loss of flight time yet.
