*The factory have informed us that one batch of receivers have an inverted polarity sticker.
Please take note that the top face of the Rx is the signal pin.
This is only related to around 100 units and all new units do not have this mistake.
I did not find diversity between the two models. Recommended that you use with long antenna in the presence of carbon fuselages, so as to bring out the antenna
*claser: There is no differens in range with long or short antenna. Qoting myself from one step down: "No, it is not. The long version has a extension coaxial cable. One reason is to get the active part of the antenna out off carbon fibre fuselages.
You just use a splitter cable, 1 in 2 out on any channel. this is done because more and more people fly electric with BEC build in the controller on channel 3 and it can be build a little smaller this way *-)
if your model is large or uses carbon fibre, metal etc then you will want the long antenna version so that you can place your antenna close to the skin of your aircraft if your aircraft is a simple foamy with nothing to block the signal and not needing a special antenna location then the short antenna version is fine
note - the antenna is not longer or shorter its the feed cable to the antenna that is longer
I keep having problems with my Gyro, nose of the heli keeps drifting to the right. According to the manual there is difference between the neutral point of the receiver and the neutral point of the gyro. I use a lot of subtrim now (-40) and it's flyable. But everytime I start up the system I have to ajust the trim in "normal mode" and when that's correct I can switch to AVCS. Gain is 62% on a 401 clone. Tried it with a CSM to, same result. Any ideas guys???
I use 4 of them, in Easy Glider, Simprop Selection, Sprinter & Fun Jet with more than 770 Watts input Power! No problems with binding, my Transmitter is a MPX 3030 with a X8F 2.4ghz Futaba Module connectet via l/s port!!! Absolut perfect!!

I love the Assan 2.4 GHz R/C System. I have been flying with them on my Hitec Eclipse 7 radio on 4 planes for 1 year and have had no problems. I also have the Futaba 2.4 system - with no problems. I also have the "Spectrum" radio system and have had several problems from loosing bind to lockouts and crashing planes. I will continue to buy Assan 2.4 radio products. Thank you Hobby City for the great prices and reliability.

Hi, i must give a statement for this great thing. I tested a few modells with the ASSAN receivers with long an short antennas. This receiver has worked very well and faultlessly about for one year. I am most satisfied and can that product only recommend.

Used this for upwards of 30 flights in my Katana MD with perfect results. Absolutely reliable, great performance and this should really be giving the likes of Spektrum and Futaba the screaming heebie-jeebies. These guys really need to start slashing their prices now that Assan is in town!
