The blue part goes in the plane, the angled nipple to the tank and the straight nipple to the carb. When the fill plug is disconnected, the valve lets fuel from the tank to the carb. When the fill plug is connected, the valve connects the fill plug to the tank and closes the line to the carb.
This is for filling the air tank of your pneumatic retracts. The valve is connected to the air tank inside the aircraft and the refill plug is connected to a pump. The valve is one-way and only lets air in.
The normal Robart Tube will fit great,
Tube with 1,5 mm hole inside and by example 3mm outside diameter will work fine. HK has also tubing what will fit nicely.
Does anyone know whether this device can be used as an air pressure checkvalve at the inline hose from mufler to the tank?. I just came to the idea whether the Nitro pressure will became more stable with this device. Thanks
To answer my own question - it does *not* fit a Robart filll value. But, an adapter can easily be made from an additional Robart fill valve (#168(FV)) and some s**** tubing.

Not compatible with a Robart fill value/fill chuck (Robart #168), so one less star. Mine are blue, not alu as in the picture. The "ply" washer seems to be fiberglass(?). The untheaded part is longer than the thickness of the washer, so additional backing is required if mounting through a thin fibreglass shell.

I jsut recieved and installed this as a retrofit to my exiting retracts- I lost the stupid fill adapter to my retract pump. So I ttok off the old one from the plane, put in this HK version and now it works perfect. No leaks, no problem. For this price buy 2 or 3 and retrofit all your planes!!!
