These are perfect for mounting wings on aircraft - I use just the one bolt on many aircraft - the use of 2 dowels at the other side of the wing is important to hold the wing steady - I also just thread a ply plate (at least 1.5 x the thickness of the bolt dia) I use these screws singularly in models up to 3s 2200 mAh aerobatic models

These are the same screws used on the cat racer 60 sold by hobby king, I have one of theme and it flys very well and the wing bolts are still holding, I bought a bag of these for good luck, If you have spares you won,t need them. but the planes had quite a few flights and replacement is better than lost wing as they are very light bolts.

technically they are machine screws or cap screws they arent bolts until you find your nuts

Killioughtta Yes it is nice to find a OCD like me. Cool. ""SCREW""fastener having a tapered shank with a helical thread, and topped with a slotted head, drive. BUT ALSO a threaded cylindrical pin or rod with a head at one end, engaging a threaded hole. So really it is a Nylon Screw/Bolt. I hope I have not offended you. Also the nuts you have to buy separately.
