What is the best ESC for this motor. I tried to run it with noname 10A ESC and every time when i tried to pull accelerator handle over 30% the motor stops running. Seams like ESC cut the voltage. What is wrong ?
Hello, i want to make a shocky with a weight about 150 to 200g. I have already the Turnigy 2211 2300kv motor and e.g. I take a 8x6 prop. Have this motor enough power to fly 3D with my plane?
Hi there i just bought the 2211-1300 motor for my merlin using a hobby king 12 amp and a 8-4 folding prop lots of power and i think this set up in a shock flyer would be fantastic you could probibly hover at half throttle
Have a problem that my MAG 8 speed controller will not function well with this motor. The motos jitters, and the controller squeeks. Any advise on suitable speed controller?
I had the same problem with the 24gr outranner it does not start on Turnigi 10 Amp. Then I install 20 Amp no name kontroller and have 10 flight on it. Then I switch back to Turnigi 10. I is working. I guess the magnetic force is to big on the new motor.
try to run this motor on the bigger size controller.
same problem with the 2730 my Mystery/hobbyking 12 a ESC will NOT run it ALL my other ESC's Including 2 Mag 8's run it perfectly.

3 thumbs up!
Can't say much useful about it. The one I got had glue all over the bearing tube and mount plus a broken wire. Wouldn't run. Numbers from the previous review don't look bad at all sorry I couldn't test it. Quality Control is shaky as usual.

Simple test for now. 5300rpm with a 8x4,3 GWS prop @ 2s460 rhino lipo. Prop calc about 170 grams of thrust. 4 stars because of the overrated values. Motor without mount and adaptor is 17 grams.

installed this motor in a multiplex Merlin with a hobby king 12 amp ESC and a 8-4 cam folding prop with 4 hextronic 5 gram servos, 3-s 500mil amp turnigy battery with great results. plenty of power nothing getting hot, and about ten min flights. this motor has amazing power for it's size. Only problem was the motor is so light for the merlin I had to re- adjust the batt for CG and add a little weight to the nose. I am very happy with it and will buy more

The Turnigy brand of brushless motors is good enough for me to know that its gonna be a qaulity motor. Anyway, I used this on the DD for an E-SkyHBFP heli used in conjunction with a Turnigy 10Amp ESC and it's awesome using a 6035 prop.
Excellent motor that stasys cool to the touch after flying. Highly recommened - For the brushless mod on the E-Sky Honey Bee Fixed Pitched heli -> goto www.rtf-heli.com
