Does anyone know if you use these with the aerial coiled (as bought) or uncoiled
 Colin 9 points
In case anyone's interested, I've just had confirmation from Assan that the two antennas should be uncoiled and straightened out.

can i use it as a car rx for rc car?
 Robert 49 points
The small 3ch receiver is very useful in any rc car, however the antenna is still appr. 10cm long - if you want to use a receiver with near to no antenna, check out the 4ch version. I made several range tests before choosing this system as my default system and the 4ch and 3ch worked around 350-400m without any problems. Even the small antenna of the 4ch works great in almost any rc car - even if you use many carbon fibre parts like it do - no interferences so far. The assan System is one of the

is it work with digital-brushles servo?

This is my first Rx with a long antenna. Do I have to unwrap the antenna and run it along the aircraft fueselage or will it work if I leave it wrapped the way it is?
 Gabor 20 points
The antenna has a coaxial cable. Only the white or silver ending is sensitive. The other part of the wire is shielded. You can leave it wrapped, but may cause some interference. So try to unwrap anyway.

Does it work with Tactic 2.4ghz tx?

Somebody nows if this reciever works good with the $pektrum 2.4Ghz or futaba 2.4Ghz .
 worldedit 107 points
I dont think it will work. They dont tell which transmission protocoll they are using so the receivers cant be copied.

This one' price surely will go down quickly (or for sale) because no one will buy it.
Better wait for the 4ch to come.

I don't get it... why buy a receiver that's more expensive, heavier, and one channel less than the 4 channel Assan RX? Doesn't make sense to me.
 Blue Angel 1462 points
Me too.
weight is only 6,2g but also too much compared to the x8r4.
 Krist 234 points
This were designed before 4Ch receivers.
 worldedit 107 points
Maybe its made for cars. I use $pektrum 2.4Ghz and the car recievers are more expensive there too.
